Unless Marty pulls an Agnelli on me, I'm staying with this team. I love our Mod's team and I think we are doing a great job this season.

Enough talking about me. Back to Del Piero, if you have anything go to Mod's thread, there you can take a legal action.
Then you and your team are clearly delusional. The truth is that some of you are doing a pathetic job. Weakly enforcing rules and gladly breaking some yourselves. It's outrageous that you lot let the madness in the Giovinco thread go on for so long. Even more pathetic that some even participate in it without any shame.

You guys are unfit to be mods anymore.

Sheikh... It's a damn forum, stop bitching already made. What has gotten into you?
The stupid and ridiculous behaviour of the people in the forum. The unwarranted Giovinco hate, the abuse of Agnelli, the Del Piero fanaticism, the incompetence of some mods. THAT's what gotten into me. This forum used to be a nice place before. Now it's just become pathetic.

Both not true.

Juventuz is not a place for Juventus fans only. We have had and we continue to have people who watch Juve for a specific player. It doesn't matter if they aren't Juventus fans or they are fans of only a player. That criteria doesn't define who can voice their opinions here. That said, cut out on the personal battles. One can always make an argument in a civilized way.
I can say the same. Instead of voicing their discontent towards Agnelli, they're resorting to abuses. Voice your opinions all you want, but abusing and throwing insults at the president of the Juventus in a Juventus forum is just unacceptable. And the fact that the mods are defending it and not putting an end to it is even worse. Watch and worship a player all you want. But remember that this is still a Juventus forum. It's about the club. Show some respect to it!

Fair point. But people can have opinions -- any kind they want. How they express them is what can be the problem.

As far as I am concerned, Giovinco isn't a Juve player and is unlikely to be one anytime soon. As long as you're more likely to be competition to Juve than someone on the club, you're a fair target in my book.

The Agnelli stuff is pure latent silliness. Adore Del Piero and all, but this is old news since October. Some people are gonna choose to be pining away for the 63-year-old Del Piero while a whole generation of Juve fans is going to grow up never seeing him play and having to pander with a, "Yes, we know, grandpa, Del Piero was the greatest." The problem is these future grandpas don't realize it, they are in denial of it, but they need to have their day in the sun a little. All within boundaries of the forum rules, of course.

And as far as love for Del Piero goes, anyone is welcome to it. Fanaticism welcome.

That wasn't aimed at one side. It was to both.

It's a difficult time for some of us, me included, having to see our idol exit the way he is. It brings out different emotions and different people bring it out differently. Even though I do agree that the abuse to the president can be in poor taste (even though I agree that he deserves a bucketload of slack) I understand where they are coming from. It's one of those cases which comes once in 19 years.

so emotional unstability is ground for slacking on the forum rules?

The abuse of Andrea Agnelli is totally tasteless and worthy only of interista scum, IMO.
Some tasteless stuff can be really awesome. Like your poop jokes :D

That's my take on the issue. If the other mods decide otherwise, I'll support them.

Then why is his thread not in the Rookie/History section but in the Players section instead? Where's the consistency in that? He's either a Juventus player or not. Your actions are showing double standards. So which one is it?

I'm not complaining about the fanaticism and people's stupid opinions here. I can't ask you to change their opinions. What I AM complaining about is the sheer lack of order from the mods when it comes to people who cross the line between criticism and abuse. What goes on in the Giovinco (and the Agnelli thread, to some extent) is flat-out abuse. It's not constructive at all. It's clearly against the rules. Normally, you mods should be dishing out infractions to those people(just like I got one for saying 'fuck Del Piero'. And guess who gave it?). And seeing the volume of FUCK GIOVINCO posts out there, they would end up being banned. But why do I still see them posting?

Seriously, put an end to this ridiculous behaviour.

Two questions.

1. How does a mod team look when one of the mods is the bandiera for this "fuck Agnelli wish him the worst" movement

2. How does it look when that same mod neg reps you with abusive constant reps when you are not a proproprorpropropropro Del Piero?
