I was for 80% of my life and I'm living among them. I know how Muslims are easy to offend and I have no problem with them being mad at what they consider offensive but all this doesn't give them the right to punish someone which has supposedly offended them. I'm not talking about these forums Tahir, you know that an act, to be considered as a guilt, must be disapproved by law in the first place and by norms in a lesser level. Pigs are holy for a hypothetical group of people and they get offended when the word pig is used in crude jokes, does it give the "pigists" the right to punish someone for using such jokes? A Muslim can be offended by what Alen said there but it doesn't mean Alen must be given an infraction because of that. You need reason for that. And as Dusan could well see it lacking in what Rab did, the warning was reversed.
I know how much Mecca means to Muslims and I still don't see the joke aimed at Islam but rather at the member Furia but lets suppose that it was really an insulting joke at Islam. Alen doesn't know how Mecca means for Muslims like member X probably doesn't know how Materazzi means to me. Punishing Alen for that is like punishing anyone who say Materazzi is an asshole. For Alen, Mecca is only a city like many other cities in the world and for member X Materazzi is only a player (a non-Juve one!) like many other players in the world. How far can you go now? How big is the list of your holy things? Answer is that you can make a list as big as you want writing down your holy stuff there but the bigness of your list doesn't give you the right to punish people who don't hold your holy things dear like you do.
