We are not a top team. Top teams do not sell Vidal and Pogba two seasons in a row.

Disgusting performance once again and even up to scoring the goal we did not look in proper control of the game and we won the penalty after a counter attack when Lyon were pressing us. Going one goal up we created only one goal scoring chance afterwards and of course Higuain had to be his usual self and choke it. To think going one goal up in this setup, it will make Pjanic boss the midfield, create space and sendm poisonous balls to the forwards but no, he chokes instead and leaves the game injured. The rest were just strolling the field in a casual manner except for Barzagli who saved our ass a few times and Marchisio who is still not at his best.

He is playing really good, he was actually our best player tonight but that bullshit reputation that Zacheryah likes to spread that Marchisio makes his teammates shine is, like I said, just bullshit. Pogba played better because he is a good player and the midfield got another player who can play, not because Marchisio made him play better.

Once his choking buddy choked, the whole team got nervous and pressure spread all over the place. I don't really understand why, I don't know why we found the urge to play this way but we did. That behaviour put pressure on Pjanic.

I thought Barzagli prior to the goal did two or three wonderful defending moves saving goal scoring opportunities. Marchisio played well but he is not that fit to play the entire match, you saw how he got robbed that ball that got him a yellow card.

Again with the Pjanic better than Pogba? Seriously?

Let's see how we will fix the problems this time around.

I don't mind him doing what he is doing, he is trying his best to get there but the difference from last year is that we had Pogba with him and it's obvious how much better he is than that wreck of a mentality that we paid so much for. I remember all the time he was at Roma how much this forum laughed at him when he broke, we have him on our payroll nowadays.

I try so hard to understand his role in the middle but I keep on failing.

Watch the desperation in January and how we will either overpay for Witsel or whoever we go after or end up buying for the sake of buying someone not even better than Palombo.

Such a shame because we should aim to be as attractive as those teams.

Bundesliga is not an attractive league eother yet Bayern are an attractive club. When we sell Vidal and Pogba it is a fucking huge billboard that we don't aim to be a club at that level.
