Please do yourself a favor and leave the original 3 week ban. I don’t want to give any mod a reason to pretend that he did a favor to me. Leave the original 3 weeks. Let the fact stand that I was banned wrongly and the silent letters in the mod crew directly participated in the ban.
I’m too disappointed in some people. While Aaron and Greg were parading around this thread instead of keeping this in the mod forum, the other mods kept quiet publicly. Red, Mark, Dule, JJ, Rab. All 5 of you know that you should have posted here and said publicly that you 100% agree or disagree with the ban. You were directly involved in everything, and it was pathetic to stay quet. Excluding Rab, the 4 of you were truly pathetic. Why are you moderators? If you’re too afraid your voice to be heard, what’s the point of being there? At least two moderators gave up of their powers, so why are you still keeping the powers? Are you afraid that if you’re not mods the other mods will one day give you a warning? They won’t, because you will never break the rules. You’re too afraid to do it. Your last chance to change the image I now have for you is to say here and now that the ban mustn’t stand. If you feel that way, say it here, even if it won’t change anything. 1 week compromise is the worst thing you could do. By far the worst and it shows your character. You took what you thought was the easy route that will satisfy everyone. If you don’t care, then you shouldn’t be moderators. If you care, don’t be chicken.
No beef with Aaron. The boy has no idea what he’s doing, even though what he does isn’t tendencious and he thinks he’s doing the right things. But he’s too clumsy and he’s just being a funny clown now.
The beef is with someone else, who couldn’t hide the obvious animosity toward me.
I’m gonna be a little apologetic now, because even if I don’t think I ever did something to him (frankly, I hardly ever replied to his posts, and it’s been almost 6 years of regular posting from me) there is this feeling that I did something that hurt him. I can’t locate it, so I will randomly apologize for some things:
- I apologize for not having lazy sperm. It’s really not my fault if anyone has it.
- I apologize for the infertile fields of Portugal. I’d do the rain dance, I’d pray for rain, but I can’t make the drought go away. Trust me, that is not my fault and don’t take it on me, don’t blame me for those infertile summers.
- I read in 4 different posts that your mother in law was very sick. Just as many times I apologize that we also have sick relatives, sick and dead parents. The 5th time you say that, have in mind that you’re insulting the woman when right after mentioning her, you use the
smiley for an Aaron’s “I still won’t unban Alen” post. Normal people, in normal families, are around their close ones in bad times. They don’t scream in a forum: “feel sorry for me because the cousin of my neighbor is sick”, and then celebrate that someone in the same forum was banned. Too pathetic, yet I truly felt sorry for you right there. I feel even more sorry for that woman for having such a son in law. I apologize for this too.
- I apologize that you tried to play maturity and wisdom for years, and only showed a weakness that you can’t stand a virtual forum account. I will not listen to you. Unfortunately, I can’t take the risk of listening to an advice or order from someone who acted the way you have in this situation. You stood behind a wrong and illogical decision, you voted for it, you publicly showed that you want me banned for an unbannable offense, only and only because you wanted a forum account banned by any means and you couldn’t stand it. It was funny and sad to watch how much you want me banned. Thanks for the importance you gave me.

Alen being banned is bullshit imo. You guys need to stop pretending Marcelo isn't real just because you're jealous of Badass. Mark, I'm looking at you. This is a horrible way to abuse your mod powers. I can't believe you got Aaron, Kate, and Swag to go along with it. I guess you must know things about them. And Alen gets banned just so Mark can troll Badass.

The mods who were directly responsible for this prank ever being a reality, what will happen to them? Stop side stepping, deal with the problem instead of handing out a nonsensical 1 week ban. Either Alen is banned for three weeks, and so are the mods who helped forge the IP adress, or else Alen walks free and the mods who made it possible keep their ranks. Seriously, this is a catastrophic decision.
No regular members were a part of creating the joke, if you want to ban everyone who was a part of the joke at some time during the past year - then so be it. That is a looong list, but you're welcome to ban us all. If you chose to ban all the members who were a part of the joke, then the mods who were in on it should lose their ranks and be banned too.
