But its not real life its the fucking Internet! If you can't grasp that than it must have been quite an accomplishment for you to turn on that high tech computer thing and log on to this thing the smartie pantses call the inter something.
There are a lot of places on internet where there are effective rules about swearing and people actually act like people not apes. juventuz is pretty much the only place for me where I can discuss and read about Juventus related things every day and I'd like to think that many people would like to have it normal way not like some gamer forum full of 13yo.

Kyle, you have some point but not entirely. There has to be a certain level of respect here, otherwise it would be a circus and not a forum. Even if it's "just" an Internet forum you can't go berserk and yell like you live on a mountain. Get your habits here and follow them in real life. You gotta learn to respect others' opinion, however silly or retarded it looks to you. Wishing deaths upon players and staff is idiotic really and it should not be tolerated. Insults towards other clubs will be taken lightly and mods will have more understanding when there's some match that causes the heat, but there's also no reason to make voodoo dolls and make rituals here when it comes tooney or any other players.
I do have respect for others opinions tho. There is not a single member on here who I have a problem with or regularly exchange insults with in a serious manner. I am defending freedom of speech here not saying that we should all be assholes to each other.

the freedom we have here as compared to other forums is also part of Juventuz's greatness...we say a LOT of shit that would get deleted immediately in other forums.

that being said, yes, there should be a bit more strictness (?) around here, just a wee bit more.

Kyle, It's an internet forum right but you accepted its rules when you registered here. It's not about taking an internet forum seriously because you actually took it seriously enough when you accepted to abide by its rules. When you registered here you accepted not to insult the other members as well as Juve players and staff (as much as it doesn't make sense to me, I won't complain if I get a warning because of insulting Juve players).

bullshit, why was everybody jumping on Andy's ass for his comments and we have to be so sensitive to sad things elsewhere but when it comes to an event that killed thousands of innocent Americans its cool to joke about? Mods, this is another reason why your whole censorship plan is stupid because it is full of double standards. I demand action be taken and fags be bitching non stop against anybody who jokes about 9-11 and it be shown the same respect as any tragedy from your own country. Don't deny me my right to clog up the mod thread because I am butt hurt about a joke.

Note to forum members:

What is so hard to understand? The forums are a reflection of society. In society there are rules, if you break a rule you generally get punished. You can say whatever you want, but if you tell someone you want them to die or you'll kill them you can face assault charges.

In the forums, if you break to societal limits that have always been established you get a warning. That's not censorship. You can say whatever you want, but there are consequences.

The only problem with the forums is the inconsistency of the warning system, it's either too lax or too harsh. I've been warned for making a silly joke that had no foul language, yet my signature is highly offensive toward an individual on the forum.

The Mods ought to set out a system of warnings, ie. verbal, yellow card, red card, ban. Two verbal warnings get a yc, two ycs get a red, and however many reds over a period of time gain a ban. I know there is something like this already, but in order for it to work there needs to be consistency. Mods must stick by it.

As for censorship, if the mods delete offensive threads. That is censorship. It may be necessary, not my call. If two members get into a heated argument, then mods shouldn't remove the posts. If the posts are properly warned, they will serve as a notice to the rest of the forum.

There the problem is fixed. Quit arguing. Go about your businesses.
