One of the mods proposed a zero tolerance policy for people who fuck around on reputations. It's posts like that which make me agree with that mod on two counts:

1. rep is idiotic to begin with
2. if you're going to insult someone, have the balls to do it publicly. Reputation isn't a private messaging service.

The proposal was screw infractions, since the system doesn't allow it anyway. If people can't be civil in reputation comments in either direction, an automatic minimum 24-hour ban. And that includes seemingly innocuous insults like calling someone a chipmunk.

I'm liking the idea more and more... so keep it coming, folks.
What about mods abusing the system? Will it be still ok for them?
