I do say no to negativity, because realism > pessimism+optimism...
It is funny how different ppl react to the very same words.
What a non Juve fan may find optimist, a Juve fun, call pessimistic...
I do not insist on pessimism or optimism, just stating the truth/obvious/probable.
Objectively, where is the negativity?
When stating that Man City, becoming the new Chelsea will affect our transfer market??
O well, time will prove my point anyway...

Actually it won't affect our transfer market in a single bit. Man City targets are very very far from ours. We will never buy Kakas, we will never buy Messis nor Eto'os. They cost a lot and their wages are sky high. We never did and we never will. We did it only when we had the money from selling Zidane.
We will keep on snatching free players, Man City won't even think about it.
We will keep on buying Amaurius, Sissokos and Tiagos and Man City will think of Kakas, Essien and the likes.
So you know what? let Man City do that, it threatens our direct opponents markets.

See, they affect us indirectly, at least, not to mention the fact they might buy some of our players or directly interfere with one of our targets (they wont only buy Kakas and Messi's)
The idea is, that our transfer policy is limited, directly, or indirectly, by the teams who are in a better position than us. These teams are very few ones (fortunately), yet...
It is in our best interest, that this group wont grow, because the more it grows, the more limitations we will face...
PS Our EPL opponents will face some heavy competition though, that will work in our favor!

I think that if Man City make an offer of around 50 mil € for Buffon we'd be crazy not to accept it.
As much as I love the guy, and I really do, we need the money. Let's look at our rivals.
Inter never really have money problems, they have Moratti who, although not as rich as Abramovich or the Oil head at Man City, pumps in enough money to get the players he wants.
Milan, if they sell Kaka, will have an incredible amount to spend, and could get a lot of quality players, even if their prices inflate. Imagine if they get, as rumored, Clichy, Essien, Adebayor, get a new defence, a new playmaker etc, while we'd be left with a 30 year old Buffon, 32 year old Del Piero, 36 year old Nedved, with Molinaro, Grygera, Marchionni etc.
I dont thing we'd be able to compete with them for a few years.
