I disagree with you there my friend. In the game in Madrid, our game plan was to soak up and counter, unlike Real who were passing the ball around and trying to break us down (mostly unsuccessfully in that game), we attacked down the right exploitoing the space Roberto Carlos had left us lwhenever he went forward. Every Juve attack in that game was a purposeful one, there was a hardly a get us out of jail clearance by our defenders on the night. I remember the commentator saying we looked menacing anytime we came forward and that we attacked with such purpose. We might not have bossed the game, if having a lot of possession is what it means to boss a game, but we certainly gave them a lot to think about. Their winning goal resulted from an improperly cleared set-piece, dont't forget. It wasn't like they tore us to shreds repeatedly in the game.
I´ll watch the game again today and will get back to you with comments. ;)

Sweden - Senegal in the '02 WC, Senegal scores in extra time - golden goal. That Swedish team had potential.

Iran - Yugoslavia in the '98 WC, Mihajlovic scores on a FK. Iran could have won, which would have meant advancement from the group.

1.W.C. 2002 italy vs. south korea, some bad luck and an absolutely terrible refree denied italy the victory which they obviously won

2. W.C. 2002 Brazil vs. Germany i had rooted for the germans along with the U.S.A., and italy such as i always do and i was so sorely dissapointed. Oliver kahn had been such an inspiration to me and it was terrible to watch him lose:cry:

South Korea vs Spain was another awfull piece of officiating & I remember how everybody finally saw what a bunch of clowns fifa really are.
I never liked FIFA or its choices, especially for the FIFA player of the year award. Ironically, it is pretty clear even to a blind that they're often biased.

-Italy-South Koraa 2002 world cup,for the same reasons that a lot of members have already mentioned.

-Italy-Bulgria,Euro 06.Italy won the match in stoppage time i believe through a Cassano goal, but Sweden-Denmark drew the other match 2-2 in the final stages.I was so fucking pissed at the danes and swedes.I was almost certain that both of them had fixed the match so both of them go through and italy go out.

Juventus-Liverpool Quarter Final 04/05 - This was the first time i literally wasnt able to sleep. The loss to Milan in the final in the 02/03 didnt final didnt hurt as much because i was SO sure that we'd maul Liverpool as their EPL form was pretty poor. The fact that atleast a dozen liverpool fans got under my skin after the first leg in Anfield made me hope for a convincing juventus win,but the 0-0 result was easily the most horrible moment of my life with regards to football.

We didn´t dominate vs Barcelona in both matches, we dominated vs Real Madrid only in Turin in Madrid we were being fired.

Vs Milan we played a pathetic match.

I agree on the luck part, we were more lucky than we dominated that season.
well in both games we overcame the odds to beat them, and madrid had the best team in europe(team not squad). So i would say we dominated or convinced a hell lot.

again your underestimating the effort here, as your stressing the luck part which you need as we agree on.

about the final, well Milan were pathetic as well so i guess it was even. And we were minus a key figure and our best player.

How ironic is that the same tactical mistakes done by Capello was exactly repeated against Arsenal the year after. These two matches against Liverpool and Arsenal in two successive years have created a psychic complex inside me that we can't beat an English team in Delle Alpi.

Certainly, I can't stand people's comments about the English teams being tactically superior to Juve, people usually forget that the tactics' camp was originally founded in Italy and in Turin specificly. ;)

The day we defeat a big English side in Turin will become a Bianconeri feast, at least to me.

Can't really think of only two....here are several matches couldn't sleep nor focus on anything for like 3days atleast...

Dortmund 97, Real 1-0 Juve, Man Utd semi, Italy 94,98, 2000, 02....and of course the old trafford final.

Yeah.English teams seem to have an edge over us.I was sure we wouldnt be able to beat Arsenal after the first leg,but i was extremley confident of a Juventus win in turin over Liverpool because we had been getting late goals in the CL,and even when the match was down to the final 5 minutes,i still had hope.

Yes, I was having the same hope till the last few minutes, but Capello not Juventus was the one who led me down.

Brazil - Denmark 3-2 of the 1998 World Cup. I was left speechless. That's the most massive dissapointment I've ever felt after a football match.
Now do your disappointments for Juve, Manchester, Barcelona, Lyon, Sevilla, Milan, Ajax, Bayern and the few other teams you cheer for.

The CL finals 97, 2003 and 98 (in that order). I hate when people use our "lack" of trophies in europe to bitch against us. I don't know why we are so unluck in finals. Just look at our history in europe in the last 20 years. We were in like 7 finals (CL plus UEFA Cup when it was still an important cup) and just won 2 :disagree: . I don't think (m)any clubs had as many finals in that time.
