Two defeats, the history recorded them and the future won't forget them. Two defeats which have turned into nightmares for me, just thinking about them makes me really feel gutted.

1) The UEFA Euro 2000 final, when Italy lost against France in the 2nd extra time.

I started to celebrate and I was saying during the whole second half that this cup would compensate for the historical loss against Brazil in the WC final 94, what is more, we'd make France taste the loss after defeating us in the WC 98 on penalties too. Suddenly 2 minutes before the end of the match, everything turned upside down with a shot from Wiltord and.... goal. After that equaliser, the silence of the shock had the upper hand and I stopped talking, but after awhile I said we could make it in the extra time, I never thought about penalties as I know that we would need a miracle to win on penalties, and while I was daydreaming, everything went blank and......France won the Cup. I can't remember what happened actually.

2) The UEFA Champions League 2003 final, when Juventus lost against AC Milan on penalties.

I used to say that Juventus would return to fly high in Europe's sky under Lippi's coaching, that was during Ancelotti's era. We suffered terrible seasons in Europe when Ancelotti was coaching us, that's why I was considering to be crowned the champion of Europe as being a very far dream. Yet, my dream was on verge to be achieved in 2003, we had the edge in both Italy and Europe and we're the best without a doubt. We became the champions of Italy for the second time in a row and we reached the semi final of the champions League. But, I felt the danger when Nedved got stunned just for being booked, I hadn't known that he got another yellow card before that match, and my anger was at its peak by then. And we played the final without the best player in Europe, it ended in a draw, also the extra times and again I felt that unforgettable bitterness and....that's enough.

actually the moment where juventus lost to milan in 2003, is when i realized that, its just a game and life goes on
Yes, you're right. Moments like these make you realise things you don't actually have an idea about before these few moments take place. Nevertheless, I still hate to lose.

True, especially the second leg in Turin.Pippo scored a brace & Juve got owned 3-2.
Yeah, he had one disallowed too, Keane had one disallowed in Manchester, there were a few posts hit...All in all a fantastic clash that ended in the worst possible way, I couldn't sleep that night man.

i guess one would be Germany-Bulgaria in WC 1994 as i was very young and i can't forget that game.

the other would be the CL final against Milan, we had a great season and dominated all in the league and the CL.Shame neddy was out of the final

    My choices would defo be:

Juventus vs Milan 2003 CL Final
Juventus vs Borussia Dortmund 1997 CL Final
Last round of Serie A when we lost the title to Lazio in Perugia
Bayern vs ManUtd 1999 CL Final
    and
Juve vs ManUtd 1999 CL Semi-final

Up until half time it was. Crespo's goal was sweeeeet. For that 45min it was truly watching a Serie A powerhouse wipe out the opposition, total domination. Would have been nicer if it were Juve, but you can't win em all.

    And then... :lazy:
