I swear to God this made me cry and piss my pants laughing at the same time.

Huckerby signed for MLS San Jose Earthquakes and this is how he was presented on TV. :D

This is moronic. And I'm not even talking about the obvious lack of passion about football, but man, that is some poor journalism. "The Internet tells us"..

Oh, and that guy should never say Milan ever again. Okay, some Italian words are difficult to pronounce for a native English speaker, but Milan isn't one of them.

    :lol2: What a fucking joke...

    :howler:

Where's Andy, I wanna hear what he knows about this shmuck of a commentator.
Dude, I've never seen this guy before. He's just some schmuck sports guy on local channel news. He needs to stick with Barry Bonds and the fucking Giants, dumb piece of shit.

Oh and Darren Huckerby is a terrible footballer. Congrats, MLS, you idiots.

Wouldn't be surprised if Alexi Lalas paid that motherfucker to call Huckbery a "legend."

Ah, that's just KRON 4's Gary Radnich. That guy hasn't been sober in the 19 years I've lived in the Bay Area.

He's actually half poking fun at the sport of football in general, which you probably didn't pick up. He's one of many notorious area (also: national) sportscasters who pretty much air soccer coverage only when they "have to".

I thought as much, it would be terrible if such a shmuck was working on a actual sports channel.

Huckerby is a legend, did you go on the internet? He is a terrific star. :howler:

Sorry to ruin the fun, but that's my reality here. A lot of sports announcers here don't think of soccer as a "legitimate" sport. So they get loaded with Jack Daniels before their show, give a token nod to their TV news sports director and make a few comments about soccer, and sometimes have a hard time hiding their complete disdain for the sport while making fun of it.

To put it in terms that English sportscasters can understand: he's taking the piss.
