So what's up with Iran? Were the elections a sham or what? What is happening to the opposition leader? Is Ahchmadoofus just going to kill him and tell the people to swing from his nuts?

The CBC ran a story on youth in Tehran, where they interviewed a female rapper, members of a band, and a female rally car driver. I'm not sure if most of what was said was true (certain music being illegal, women not being allowed to go to football stadiums, etc), but I was infuriated. Anytime governments tell people how to live their life is overstepping their boundaries.

Also, they quoted a stat that shocked me. Something like 3/4 of the population are under 30. I can't imagine how frustrating it must be for this demographic to be forced to live by rules enforced by a bunch of hypocrites.
Certain music being illegal: Every kind of music with a woman singer is illegal since women are not allowed to sing in Iran. Many kinds of music are being illegal no matter if the singer is a male or not.

Women not being allowed to go to football stadiums: True that.

But I hate it when these kinds of examples are brought to show the lack of human rights in Iran. I'd be okay with watching the matches by TV if as a woman, I was able to get my kids custody in case I was getting a divorce. I'd be okay with not being able to sing if I, alongside 20 millions of other Iranian people, was able to choose my own president.

We're still in shock. People were all sure of winning. It was as clear as day that we're gonna win the election by almost 65% of votes against 30% for Ahmadinejad and now they say that the moron has won it by 62% of the whole votes. People wrote Moosavi, they read Ahmadinejad. It's just a matter of time until Europe and the US congratulate Ahmadinejad for the win though. The losers are us, people of Iran.

Btw, the most annoying thing from what I've seen is that some pro Ahmadi supporters were holding Hezbollah Flags:confused: and waving it like they're part of it.

This is ridiculous. I didn't think it was possible for him to win, but now he's laughing in everyone's faces. Iran could do without that clown and the friggin' Ayatola.

I want him to point out where in the Shi'aa it tells you to rob elections.
You think he cares or he doesn't sleep thinking he has robbed people? He doesn't care man. They're giving the ugliest image of Islam and specifically Shi'aa sect, because Shi'aa aren't Ahmadi Nijjad or Nasrallah, Shi'aa like myself should be ashamed of them. I consider myself better than the likes of Nijjad.

They think that by fighting the Americans/Israel and having in mind that the Shi'aa should be the strongest sects in the world will drive them directly to heaven.

But if only this man can be headshot and everything will be just fine

I'm not that naive Rab. I realize this guy and his followers are complete tools. I was being more or so sarcastic.

On another note, I fully agree with your point of view.

Problem is, somebody has to stand up to IsraHELL.
There are 10's of other ways to stand up for Israel.

I would have probably joined Hezbollah myself but I'm against mixing religion in parties. Either you're a party fighting for your freedom/message, or you're bunch of an organization planning for something dangerous using Israel as an excuse to your religious plan.

You really wanna know? If by robbing the elections you'd be spreading Shi'aa, you HAVE TO rob the elections. This is the logic of Ahmadinejad which lets him kill people IF by killing them he'd be serving Shi'aa (Islam).

Tahir; Those who voted against Ahmadinejad were also MUSLIMS. Yes, I don't like any kind of religion to rule my life but I didn't have any other choice and I decided to choose Moosavi's Islam which was not the horrendous kind of Islam of Ahmadinejad and Taliban. If Muhammad was alive, Ahmadinejad and Taliban were the first ones he was gonna kill for the destructive view of Islam they're representing.

Yea, "Nasr" was from Allah but the "Fath" seems to be too "Ba'id" now. (if you know the words' meanings)

Not if that means more than 50 million people suffering under that lunatic's dictatorship.

You and i know nothing about how it is to live there. Here we have Hoori to tell us, we have Sadomin and Lion who don't live in Iran but have family there. On other boards you can find other Iranians to tell us about it.
And they all say the exact same things.

Seriously, are Ahmadinejad's supporters just a small minority or they aren't using Internet at all?
I'm yet to meet a Persian who supports that guy.

Only some Muslims ( like Turk for example) from other countries who see Iran as the country that is powerful enough to destroy Israel are the ones who i've seen supporting Ahmadinejad.

It sure is dangerous.

I wasn't claiming otherwise.

Agreed, but not just representing but killing and causing people to suffer for.

I know what they mean. I hope you guys find a way. We are all struggling in one way or another with this disease and it takes on more faces than just Ahmadinejad unfortunately.

That is so untrue bros. Not all your fingers are the same.

Personally, from where I come from and from what I've seen, Parents never interfere or most of the times don't. The ones that interferes is basically the man and woman's fault for letting other people interfere.

We are not closed up on ourselves, we are open minded, but of course with limits for everything. Which is very normal and logical thing. That's how it is at least in Leb.
Definitely not Leb but the other countries, and the chances im going to marry a chick from those other middle-eastern countries are quite little

I am scared of dating an Armenian myself
