This is probably simpler said than done but why don't they just continue with these demonstrations? How can a people that are predominantly against their oppressive regime continue to accept living in it.

Because its easier to have ideals when your secure financially & not worried about your safety.Sometimes when you have nothing to lose then you can go all the way.

Shit, i was hoping Ahmadinejad would lose. The two scenarios following after this are both lose-lose for the people of Iran. To live under Ahmadinejad if the US won't attack, or to be bombed and get rid of that asshole.

Jack, I waited for you on MSN today, but couldn't find you, you must see this, Ibrahim Kanaan on New Tv. A real Zoo Michel Aoun got.

I saw it a bit earlier today :lol2:

All Aoun's men are crazy, he chooses them like that so they can all understand each other. One day they will end up in a mental hospital all together where they can create their own utopia with Aoun as president.

And now they tell us that Ahmadinejad has 62.5% of all the votes. Moosavi couldn't even win the polls in his hometown. One of the candidates who were also the candidate of the previous election won only 280,000 votes. Funny part is that he had won 6,000,000 votes four years ago and this year everyone expects him to have a better record. Four years ago, only half of the people who were eligible to vote were participating in the election. This time, only because of a certain candidate (Moosavi), 84% of eligible voters were taking part. Every unofficial poll kept saying that Moosavi had won the polls with more than 65% of the votes, suddenly, it appeared to be Ahmadinejad.

They cheated. They did it blatantly. They deliberately cheated conspicuously . This way, they indirectly pointed out their absolute power to people. People still can't believe it. Clashes happen everywhere in the streets and police keep beating people violently.

Every single Iranian i know was against Ahmadinejad. They told me that almost everyone they know is against Ahmadinejad and they'll all vote this time only to defeat Ahmadinejad.
That does explain the huge percentage of people going out to vote.

But it certainly doesn't explain the results. Looks like everyone in Iran is sure that Ahmadinejad cheated. It looks way too obvious that he did.
    It's terrible.

Some of those pictures were really awful and sad Hoori.
I feel very sorry for what happened to your country.
