So why are they still signing agreements despite such strong pressure against them?
Because USA government wants them to do so, and provides them with the ways to keep them ruling..

I gave examples in other posts in this thread for how the countries who signed some agreements with Israel, got nothing for their economy or their people...
LOL
Such a blind hatred, without even knowing at least some of the facts...
There you go:
Egypt got the Sinai peninsula back + Israeli tourism to Sinai
Jordan got tourism to Petra
Many Israelis fly to Far East with Royal Jordanian airlines
There're plans to build a joint Jordanian-Israeli industrial zone, one of the biggests in the Middle East, which will also be used as a free trade zone.

Should I continue or do you get the point?

"...got nothing for their economy or their people..." HHHHHHHHHHHH

Seems like Hezbollah are really looking for a civil war. I thought Nasrallah always said that his arms were and will never be directed to the Lebanese people. Yet what we are witnessing is horrible.

They're even sending their supporters to go and provoke Hariri supporters by marching towards Sunni areas...How pathetic and lame can someone be.

Hezbollah are becoming a real danger in our society in Lebanon, they should be disarmed even If that meant by force. Because other-wise, there's no way they can disarm their arms.

I'd also like to give lot of credits to our army, who are doing their best day and night, to protect our civilians and for a civil war not to take place and turn into another "Iraq".

I won't say anything about Egypt as I'm not there, but I really exploded laughing when you said Jordan got tourism to Petra!!!

Ask the people of Petra, and they will tell you that all the tourists from all over the world buy things from them except those who come from Israel...Simply, they bring with them all their food and water and they don't sleep in Petra, but hurrying up to go back to Israel...

The reason is that they don't want to give their money to Arabs anywhere...

About the free trade zone, it is only something that Israel claims to do since 1994... There is nothing on the ground, my dear...

Careful when you say to an Israeli "I really exploded" - we just might take you seriously... :D

Now c'mon, you can at least try to bring some better arguments:

"...tourists from all over the world buy things from them except those who come from Israel...Simply, they bring with them all their food and water and they don't sleep in Petra..." - Are you familiar with the region? Petra is what, like 1-2 hours away from Israel? And if the Israelis are only going to see Petra - why would they stay the night there? Tourists from the world sleep, you say? Well, it's not like they're only a few hours away from home, right?... :D
Beside, even though there's a peace agreement between Israel and Jordan, I don't think the Jordanians, with all do respect, can guarantee a 100% security to the Israelis.

"...The reason is that they don't want to give their money to Arabs anywhere..." - Right... we just consider the best bakery in Israel to be the arabic bakery in Jaffo. And the best hummus to be in Abu Gosh...
I have a friend who recently bought a $1,000,000 (that's right) apartment. So believe me, she's more than capable to bring Carrara marble from Italy to her apartment, but NO, she prefered to get her marble you know where? That's right, at the arab town.
I personally bought some of the furnitures in my apartment at the store owned by an arab.
Before the intifada started I, along with many, many other Israelis, went to arab towns and villages to fix our cars, buy food, buy many more things.
And those are only few examples. Can you repeat your statement now?

"...About the free trade zone, it is only something that Israel claims to do since 1994..." - Oh, no you don't! You wont blame it on Israel too! Just as I said - this project is JOINT! So even if you think the project hasn't started yet (and from what I've heard - architectures are already working on it) - don't even try to blame Israel and Israel only!

Now, for conclusion: seems like the only thing you're trying to look for in the peace agreements with Israel are economic benefits. How about trying to look for other things as well, such as the peace itself? Normalization of relationships? Isn't that already enough by itself? Doesn't it worth A LOT?
And once there're truly normal relationships - then we can start talking about other things, and economy is one of them.

Think about it - leaders of the countries who made peace with Israel probably thought about more than just economic benefits... And I thank them for that. Now can you open your mind just a little bit and think about other things beside the economics? Can you, "my dear"?

Nasrallah is gonna make a statement today at 8.30. Supposedly he has something VERY big to say. there are also rumors that the protesters will infiltrate the Grand Serail on Sunday.
Can this get any worse????

slight correction to your wonderfully illustrated flow chart rebel, the attacks were in 2001 not 2000, but maybe they were running a lil behind schedule. any way keep up the good work, i like conspiracies against muslims involving clever puppeteers like george "dubya" bush! :D

An Israeli telling me to open my mind!!!

My dear, the claimed peace process was based on "Lands For Peace"...

Where is the land that you gave to Palestinians that they have to give you the peace in lieu of??

Do you want me to forget about the political and the economic reasons that force me to hate that country??

What are you ready to provide me as a compensation??

You want to live in my house without even hearing my voice in the neighbour countries...

And please don't tell me that you buy from your Arab neigbours, just to spread peace...

It's just because you want to get much cheaper goods & services, so it is a mutual benefit, and not a charity that you give to those who provide you with them...
