As a palestinian/syrian point of view, Hezbollah is the best thing out there in the middle-east to keep the situation unstable. They love drama!

Hell, they should even live in our place and kick us out, since they know and understand the situation.

Lebanon to take day off for anniversary of Hariri murder

The Lebanese government has given the public sector a day off work on Wednesday to mark the second anniversary of the assassination of former prime minister Rafiq Hariri.

"Public institutions will take a day off work on Wednesday, February 14 on the second anniversary of the martyrdom of Rafiq Hariri and his companions," according to a government decree carried on Saturday by state news agency ANI.

Hariri and 22 other people were killed on February 14, 2005 in a massive bomb attack on the Beirut seafront. Fingers of blame have been pointed at Syria, which insists it was not involved.

The pro-government coalition has called for a huge gathering on Wednesday in central Beirut, where Hariri is buried, next to where the pro-Syrian opposition has been staging an ongoing sit-in since December 1.

Lebanese security forces have erected a fence slicing the downtown Martyrs' Square in half, in an apparent bid to prevent friction between rival supporters.

In late January, street fighting between opposition and pro-government supporters across the country left seven people dead and 300 wounded.
