do I really care ??

Yes, you've been here for 4 years, and we have had discussions about everything from religion to soccer, but dont get mad or take it personally if I dont remember certain details of conversations about religion

Most of the time, when there have been discussions about religion or politics, it turns into a flame war anyways.....I cannot remember you being directly involved with those either.....and how convienient of you to link the fact that I cant remember details about your religious opinions to my knowledge of the Muslim religion
Convenient? lol, you called me a terrorist! That's just as outrageous as me calling you a communist! Which we all know that you're far from.

Are you just realizing now that there are good and bad in every profession ?? You are very naive , Andy

Why not show the videos of the troops doing a good job, only to fall victim to some piece of shit a half mile away yelling "Allah Akbar" while pressing a detonator button, which tears apart his vehicle, and his body....happened to a friend of mine, who was in no way a rogue soldier like was shown in your video.

Tell you what, Andy, why dont you go to Pakistan and catch up with your friend Adam Gadahn....you have alot in common
I'm sorry for your friend, but please answer me this: is it Israeli policy to rough up a Palestinian male who was unarmed and in his own village, then destroy the apartment of peacekeepers with no search warrant, no provocation, and no reasonable reason to completely thrash their apartment to hell just because they had a video camcorder? Are camcorders illegal in that place? I think not.

I mean, these are peacekeepers here. If the IDF is so vicious as to destroy the apartment of international peacekeepers, what on earth could we expect them to do against their "true" enemy?

Seriously, I've never seen something more vicious than this stuff. It honestly reminds me of Nazi Germany.

Again, whats missing from the videos ?

Seriously, could things have happened before the cameras started rolling ??

Another question to ask, which I heard it mentioned in one of the youtube videos, is could the IDF be ransacking these homes because they are suspected of having weapon caches inside ? or how about terror suspects ?

I know a few former IDF Commandos, and they paint a far different picture of the situation over there (let me also mention that these guys are some bad motherfuckers....comparable with our toughest SEALS, Special Forces, etc)

But these people were peacekeepers FFS, not terrorists or Palestinians. They had American or English accents! They told the IDF soldiers they were just working on a peace mission and I assume they showed the soldiers their identification, that is, if the soldiers even cared to see it.

It just doesn't make any sense. I guess I can say thank goodness I live in a place where the government doesn't always ransack your home any time they want to, which is apparently found all the time in the wonderful Israel.

Hmm, wonder why they paint a different picture that is contrary to those who oppose the ferocity in which the IDF manages the situation. Let me think about this for a while...

no...."peacekeepers" with English accents couldnt possibly be hiding weapons for the Palestinian cause, that would never happen

ever heard of the word "corruption" ??

I'm not saying that happened in this circumstance, but isnt it possible ??

2 sides to every story, Andy

you say that the Israelis censor their television broadcasts, but couldnt the Palestinians only be showing you half the story ??

things to think about.......

I honestly don't understand why you're always so quick to defend the IDF, but okay.

Sure, English-speaking terrorists are indeed a possibility. So the IDF raided a place they suspected to house weapons and English-speaking terrorists. Yet apparently, in their haphazard and quite destructive search, they found nothing. How do I know this? I know it because those English-speaking terrorists were let free, were not taken into the local IDF weapons control office, and were not killed.

So... what do we make of this? Was their search justified or not? Was their actions in the apartment of innocent people justified? I think not.

Like I said, if the IDF is capable of such brutal force against peacekeepers, Christ, God speed to the people they REALLY hate. I can only imagine the abuse they have to deal with under those scumbags the American media loves to tout, "the IDF heros."

Actually, no. A daring Israeli TV station made this tape you see here and then released it in defiance towards the IDF. "Purification."

Well there you go, Vinni. The Jewish soldier said it himself. He's there to purify Israeli territory.

Now tell me... does this not remind you of the Nazis? Sorry, but this IDF is turning into Nazi Germany 2.0.

And you know what the horrifying thing is? The (most of the) world is sitting there and doing nothing to stop it.

70-100 years from now, our grand children are going to look back at us and see us as monsters for just watching, or in the case of some people, supporting this injustice.

It is sorry. But considering the Jews have been persecuted so much over history, they can pretty much do whatever they want and the west won't bat an eye. Why? Well, ever since World War II it has been entrenched in our (US) society that Israel must exist so the families who suffered the Holocaust can live on. Okay, fair enough. They certainly deserve to live. But what happens when they start committing the same acts their Nazi aggressors pulled, killing random people like slaves?

From this American's point of view, I just cannot sit here and defend Israel after looking at the statistics, the history, footage of the torment, and specifically the pure bias the US media spews out regarding the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. I turn on the BBC and I don't only hear about the attacks on Israelis, but I also hear in depth the attacks on Palestinians. I'm talking in depth here, and not only when a mass number of casualties occur.

For instance: this past week MSNBC reported the bulldozer guy run over Jews in Jerusalem. Yet not once did I hear about the massacres committed in the Gaza Strip on live TV. I had to read about them instead.

This is what I'm talking about. It's true, the US media distorts the issues at hand in favor of Israel. Now whether it be due to this pro-Israel lobby we have in this nation, or the fact that the majority of the media is owned by Jewish Americans, I have no idea. But what is certain is the Palestinians keep getting screwed over because they're placed in the same boat as Al Qaeda and the same group the US gave weapons to in the late 80's - The Taliban.
