But the decission to remove threads was taken long before my time here and i guess there was a reason for that.

Enron, Osman was the only guy who was asking for the warned post. I knew that the particular post will be posted here later when Ze will be online so i didn't want to post it myself. Since Osman kept asking for the reason why is Andy close to being banned, i told him by PM, just like i told Andy what's the problem.
I know that Osman is no-one in this partucular issue and he's not involved at all, so yeah, it would have been smarter if i didn't tell him anything at all, but back then, and now still, i didn't think it's a problem if i tell another member what was the problem.

I've read couple of pages a while ago on xtratime....and it's pretty lame to see some members hitting at Juventuz.com after all this time.

Apart from what happened between me and snoop, others are acting lame and making nonsense.

I've been insulted way too much on xtratime now, not that I care, but I just need to make things clear, that Snoop wasn't banned because he called me an Idiot. And I didn't even ban him, he banned himself.

Also apart from that snoop knows what I think of him, though his arrogance shows when you disagree with him in football.

As for those whom tried to make the lame Del Piero jokes over there....try to make a better one. Even on xtratime he's number 1 fav Juventini. So I don't know what kind of silly connections some of you are trying to make.

Unless you people expect Juventus forums to be full of Totti and Maldini or Zanettifans than thats something else.

Anyway, again, what has been said about me on xtratime isn't really what happened or what I'm doing....just so i make that clear.

Now thats a hard question!!

No one should be above the laws, but Andy is a part of this place.
I cant understand all this hate, i agree that no one should abuse or even bent the laws, but why everything has to be black or white? Cant we all co exist peacefully?
We are all grown up fellows, arent we?
I think Andy is a kind of person that understands talk, same goes for Snoop,
i think we should insist together, to adjust our set of rules and their behavior.
Andy and Snoop have friends and members they respect here, if they dont obey the mods,i m sure that, they will listen to their friends.
Before reaching to any extreme decisions, as a permanent ban, we should try and reason with them first.
They are a core part of this community, and i believe we can find some common ground!
I consider my self as an Andy's friend, but i cannot understand why he had to be so extreme to his behavior and use such vile expressions.
Maybe he was angry with smth else, i cant see a reason for Andy to hate Ze. They way the situation was presented, i have to respect Ze's position, (Ze is another person, i ve grown to appreciate and so did Andy) !

The way i see it, no one actually hates Andy, Andy didnt directly offended no one, in the first place, he was issued a warn, probably undeserved, right after a probably undeserved ban and he freaked out, he exaggerated a bit with the insults on Ze, probably because he considered him a friend that wouldnt mind that much,
or just because he cant control his anger at times,
ok he did make a mistake with those insults, i havent seen them all, but no matter what he said, i know he didnt mean them, it was a moment of madness ( i hope) and i believe we can fix this!

Members shouldnt take it personally when they are banned, the mods are just some members like the rest of us, they cant be machines, being everywhere and being fair all the time. They miss some things, they could be biased and they may exaggerate on some occasions too.
I think Rab and Ze are fine mods, mature enough, with great devotion
(it takes sacrifices from your personal life, to spend the time they spend in this forum) and their integrity shouldnt be challenged by an individual mistake or questioned decision they had to take, despite their very own will.

I ll make a suggestion to the mod team, to change some of the rules regarding the bans. Repeated violations, in the course of time, should bring longer vacations,
but repeated violations happened in the same heated day should bring a shorter 3 day vacation.
Andy + Snoop wouldnt be that mad for those short bans, as they are now
and this rule would be the same for all the forum members.

Fine, Tahir can probably explain the situation better, but i'll try

1. Andy insults another member. Tahir wants to give him a direct ban for this post but since he couldn't do that he had to give him only a warning.
2. Andy replies to Tahir by insulting him.
3. The other mods are familiar with the situation, some agree with a ban , some don't, but the majority agrees to give Andy a permanent ban and everyone thinks that Andy went way over the line with that post and with the reply to Tahir's warning.
4. I sent a PM to Andy asking him if he could calm down and try not to insult other members because he'll get a permanent ban (i sent him the PM after talking with the other mods).
5. Andy says ok
6. Then it's said in the mod forum that Andy got a bunch of similar PM's by the mods but he never listens to them and he keeps breaking the rules.
7. The admin found a temporary solution to lock Andy only in one section of the forum.
8. We're still discussing what to do and what will the final decission be.

Personally i can't find a single wrong thing done by Tahir because he did his mod job. Still, i'm one of the rare ones who's willing to give Andy another chance, hoping that he'll stop insulting other members (as naive as it sounds).
I like him and i don't want him banned but i have no rights to tell the other mods what to do, especially since Andy isn't helping himself here.
So my suggestion is to give Andy another chance but the next time he goes over the line he gets a permanent ban instead of being stuck in one subforum.
Still, it's up to Jack and the other mods.

I saw the thread. I understand what is going on. I was more or so thinking for the benefit of other members of the forum. Which is why this deleting threads thing needs to end. Just close the thread in question and leave it up for a couple of days with an explanation of the outcome, so people know what's up. Then after the couple of days, reopen the thread. As for deleting the posts in question thats up to you guys. That will eliminate threads like this one.

Some people think criticizing moderators is an easy thing. Sure it's an easy thing when moderators aren't doing their work.

But when you have to follow all threads, when you have to ban all these spammers, when you have to keep an eye everywhere when you PM members asking them to keep it clean and civilized in order not to give infraction, when you have to set bookie events in order to keep this place entertaining one and good atmosphere, then I don't think many of you have the right to criticize any of us from Jack to Ze Tahir to anyone else who is his job and spending good time over here.

I myself for example understand that several members don't see me and didn't want me the man for this job and like I've explained this to Seven I'm not a moderator to ban but to keep this place clean in first place.

And just like Cronios explained, we're all mature grown men here....well, majority of us. So lets act wise, calm, civilized not insult when you dont agree with someone and so on.

Make our job easier and the forum turning into a better place.
