I don't see the point in signing Olic, particularly given that it would spell the end of either Trez or Iaquinta.

I shall remain sceptical on this rumour until I hear more.

For the German types out there, how reliable is Kicker?

The funnies thing in all this is, we're more guilty of depending on one player than all those teams mentioned put together.
Yup.

When Diaby isn't playing Arsenal really struggle.

Exactly but all teams rely on their stars players in one way or another. Some teams have a solid cohesive unit but the star player will laways make the difference.
You can't say that about juve this year. We have been without buffon, trez, camo, even chiellini. We have had too many long term injuries to be put into that catergory

Nice, was about to say he is prolly just another Ali Karimi, meaning all about the flair and tricky dribbling, but without any end product. But then saw him actually not just passing even only once (all you need to be NOT like Karimi), but creating alot in general.

That Man U bit was funny, him and his teammates played well, but its funny the Man U players were really playing like they were paid to NOT try to stop them whatsoever

Judging by some of the Croat reactions here, and the mere fact our striking line is pretty much set, why the hell would we need Olic? Ahh, the sweet smell of dixie on a chilly Piedmont morning.

“There are so many strong sides in Italy - Inter, Juventus and Roma, for example - but they seem to rely too much on their star names.

“While those three teams struggle when they lose their big names, Milan's strength is based on the unit.

What the fuck is he talking about? Milan's strenght based on the unit ?
Take away Kaka and you'll see the unit.
No other team depends on the big names the way Milan do. Fabregas has no idea what is he talking about.
Somebody please show Fabregas the last two Milan games when Kaka didn't play.

A young goalie for the future

Juventus have signed Sampdoria's youth squad goalkeeper Vincenzo Fiorillo (18). The promising keeper will end the present season at Sampdoria, than move to Juventus in the summer. But, he will immediately be loaned by Juventus to a Serie B club in order to get more experience in the 2009-2010 season. Fiorillo would later return to Juventus for the 2010-2011 season.
