That is the key question.

Not whether we should sign him, not if we are capable of signing, not where he would fit in our system.

What we really need to know is what number he would wear.

I'm also concerned that black and white stripes may not suit him.
maybe he wants 10 and won't come to us to play in 29 ...and what you really need to know ..you gotta wait...untill you see him play for juve. So you can put all these questions still in december.

The club should sign Modric & Douglas costa for creativity. And get rid of the deadwood at the club.

---------------Modric

-Douglas----Amauri----Del piero

Simply too hot to handle.

Hehehe, you havent even seen Douglas Costa, right? Gremio fans themselves have barely seen him, its just so typical to start hyping a Brazilian the second he is rumoured to top clubs in a flimsy way.

He is the rising star of brasilian football, i was first approached about douglas 3 years ago, when he was playing for his youth team, since have been following his progress, he is clearly a special talent, it would be only right if a proper club like ours should sign him.

I betcha you said this about Lulinha last year huh? He was SOOOOO promising youth player for Corinthians, It must have been hard, that reality sunk in and Lulinha was only good in youth level and stunk it up in senior level ;)

seriously if chelsea have to sell to buy we should push for ivanovic.

(scolari wants dos santos after missing on robinho and the mexican is more likely to leave tottenham than modric is, sorry..)

we need a versatile injury-free defender a lot more than we need another diminutive playmaker.

What's the deal with Ivanovic and Alex of Chelsea? Are they playing on a constant basis? I rarely watch the EPL these days.
They are always on the bench (which is an improvement for Ivanovic, who couldn't even make the bench last season) but they hardly ever play. Terry and Carvalho are always starters.

Edit: I just checked. I was wrong. Both Alex and Ivanovic played when Carvalho was injured. We're talking about 5 EPL matches here. Alex played on 4 and Ivanovic played on 1 of these matches. But when Carvalho got back it was Carvalho-Terry again

Well Alex is Brazilian so he'd like that Scolari is now at the club, so the only person I see possibly leaving is Ivanovic as Alex is ahead of him at center-back, and both Ferreria, and Bosingwa are ahead for right-back, so he's the most isolated.

I think it is possible that Ivanovic could be available.

He'll get fed up come January when he has only played a couple of games in a year.

And Belletti is ahead of him for RB as well as the other two mentioned.

You're right Belletti too, but he's being played in the middle of the park because Essien is injured as well.

So getting Ivanovic on loan in January with rights to buy wouldn't be so hard to do.*
It'll be easier to sign him then any of Chel$ki's other defenders.

Not for a competent Sporting Director.
And there's where our problem starts our Directore cant find, negotiate, or do business very well.
