Benzema is a good player but you can`t seriously say that he is at the same level of Aguero
Benzema is better at being tall
Aguero is better at all the rest

come on Benzema might be good but he is not something special
as for Aguero amazing dribblings scores lots of goals and has great vision and passes

the way I see it right now Aguero>>>>>>>DP>Benzema

Benzema is really overated
Dude, its 2008.

all this underrating of Benzema comes from the fact that he plays in the French league. These same people forget that players like Trez, Henry, Platini, Zidane, Essien, Drogba, Makalele also came from the French league

And also, in some cases, it stems from Azzurri fans hating France and naturally underrating their players.

I was talking about Zarate...
I know, thats why I said they are nothing alike. They barely share a single similar quality besides a general one of being good finishers.

For one, Zarate scores screamers with both his right and left, while Adriano cant step out of a bath room without using the left foot first.

No, Lion is mainly right, people watch La Liga while I doubt any except few here watch Ligue 1 (I occasionally watch the league almost exclusively for Benzema and Ben Arfa, now that Nasri is gone), hardly any of them truly know him (except prolly for the crap euro France had, and prolly think he is overrated based ONLY on that). While not only does Aguero play in La Liga which everyone (with good taste) watch, but he is 170cms and argie, which is automatic mucho grande hype material.

Everyone are entitled to opinions, but please try to frigging watch the players regurarly before spewing out definite notions like that. Or if stats helps to widen your bandwagoning eyes, consider that in 12 UCL games, Benzema has scored 8 goals (not counting assists, which he frequently does despite scoring almost all the golas). I dont mention Ligue 1, because some of you mofos would predictability say its a mickey mouse league.

Trust me, many Azzurri fans don't rate French players because they're French. Case in point; Zidane. Of course more people don't rate Benzema because they don't get to watch him, but I'm also correct when I say there is a French bias to some as well. It's only natural.

I havent noticed that biasm atleast. There is a rivalry there, but I havent noticed any animosity towards their great players (really, the frigging Football God Zizou?), not like there is with english football and their players who get constant scorn.

When it comes to the NT rivalry, mainly noticed its about the idiot Domenech, and whoever of the players says something stupid at the time (Gallas, Diarra), and not french football or french players in general (again, unlike like its with ze english). The tension in the rivalry has only recently been raised a little after the algerian matador performance, otherwise its just a typical sporting rivalry. Nothing that makes Azzurri fans not appriciate the abundance of french talent (It hasnt and will never have with me, as an azzurri fan).

what are you talking about?? Really did you watch Benzema in anything other than the Euro's??

Benzema is obviously a talented player, i dont think he's as good as Aguero, but he's not far behind. Osman said everything there is to say here.

There are a few Azzurri fans here who don't consider Zidane a top ten player in the past two decades. I know that for sure because they've mentioned it to me.
