Signed Amauri, Juve must think to reinforce the defence. The italian team is searching who could play together with Giorgio Chiellini in the defensive line, next season and seems that Alessio Secco has still an idea:Fabiano Santacroce of Napoli.

I know, it´s only rumour, but I really see this kid to be a future star defender.
opinions?

i don't see him benching andrade, mellberg and legrottaglie and even if ... then he will get fucked up in one game by cassano or totti and get loaned out in the winter =p

They must be reading around here as I've mentioned quite a few times that Santacroce would be the ideal partner for Chiellini in the central defense, whether it be for the azzurri or hopefully here at Juve... although the genereal consensus is that however talented santacroce is, we don't need another relatively inexperienced CB at the moment.. Besides Marino won't let him go, he won't realistically sell any of his star players (Hamsik, Santacroce & Lavezzi)

maybe, but Santacroce shits all over Criscito in all aspects of defending and more importantly has that sense of strength that ruined Criscito here at Juve

He was injured during the last part of the year and although he came back towards the final rounds he requested some rest to be on the safe side.. He'll be fully available for the Olympics tho

Don't know much about this player... how comes he's not a starter in the Italy Under 23's (toulon tournament) if hes really good???
Around 8 players who are mostly been starters for the Azzurrini has been missing from that Toulon tourno (the whole defence except De Silvestri were missing from toulon). Alot of the squad were new inclusions and players Casiraghi was testing out.

Marco Rossi is one of the talented CBs who are azzurrini regular but was missing in the toulon cup.

You would have noticed him being Parma's best defender if you seen them. But he is very raw Mark (but strong), and not someone we should look at, for now.
