Mercato: Amelia, Abbiati, Moretti...

(Gazzetta dello Sport)

Criscito is going to return to Juve, for the left side of defence it seems we are going to get Moretti(wasn't he ours once?). Genoa apart from being interested in Palladino are also interested in Marchionni

(Tuttosport)

Today Juve are closing the deal for Amauri, and are dealing with the transfer of xabi Alonso and Aquilani.
Cassano: The Bianconeri hace a plan. Sampdoria are going to take him from Madrid, and Juve are booking him in order to buy him next season(09-10) as a replacement to del Piero. The key to this is Palladino. Milan are thinking about Quag.

Juve, idea Quagliarella.
(Corriere dello Sport)

Quagliarella will come to Juve if Iaquinta is sold to Napoli or Roma.
For the defence the names that are rementioned are Burdisso as an alternative to Campagnaro.
Olympiakos want Almiron and are willing to offer Torosidis in exchange. At the Toulon festival the Juve scouts are keeping an eye on Sahin and Erkin. They are also interested in Bamba and Muratori

Well everyone talks about Cassano Quagliarela and Amauri but I think there is one guy who has the ability and potential to make them all look like fools
It`s a risk giving him the oppurtunity now but I think he is ready if we use him as a sub and giving him oppurtunities when we can allow it
this guy is Lanzafame

I am really impressed by what I have seen from this guy and I must say he could be the best striker in the world in few years time

Conte and Vialli already compared him to C.Ronaldo and altough he does resembles him a bit he is no near to Ronaldo`s level but still he is a great player IMO and deserves the chance if not this year then next year
We should seriously take him into consideration

Classic case of insanely gullible bandwagoner, you eat up the hype so easily.

Lanzafame is a quite good talent, but man isnt he even a 5th of what this weird little post professes.

And Conte and Casiraghi mainly compared him to CRon for the dribbling and running style, nothing more. And in the U-21 games I have seen, they are right with that similarity. But no, Lanzafame is not a 10th of Ronaldo's talent so far.

I agree he is far far away from being at the same level as Ronaldo BUT he does has great dribbling and he also has very explosives accurate shots which IMO would bring us many goals that`s another thing that remind me of him

ofcourse there is no place to compare between the two as Ronaldo is like a 20 times better BUT Lanzafame does has the ability and potential to even become the best striker

(I still think that Ronaldo would be better but Ronaldo is also not a striker...)

Where have you seen him enough to say Lanzafame has the potential to be the best striker in the world? Insanely unfounded hype and unrealistic expectations like that are why players like Palladino and Criscito fail (they do because they arent good enough, but part of the issue is the insane expectations over nothing). They are wrapped aroun in golden cape just for coming out or primavera. There is no waiting until they show much of a talent, need to show little promise, and one is dubbed 10 times more then you are.

You know, Tommaso Rocchi was one of our youth products? Think of that next time you drool over one of our youth players just because they are our youth player.

P.S I seen him in 2 toulon games now, and yes he looks promising and quite good, more then I expected, in case one thinks I am being too harsh on him. But you are saying the above of best striker in the world potential, without even seeing him AT ALL in this Serie B season, which his whole career so far.

Have you realized that you say I haven`t seen anything from him without any foundation

anyway I don`t say he could be that great because he is on our primavera as I always thought that altough our primavera team succeeded over the years we don`t have someone which we can say he could be great
NOW I DO
Giovinco is quite good even if he is a bit over hyped at the moment (he is very good but he is also a bit over hyped...)
Lanzafame is the second one and altough he is obviously not better than Iaquinta or Amauri at the moment I truely believe he could be better than both and has some amazing potential
He is not close to it yet but I believe he will be
there is no certainty in life but we can give him a chance

So ok then, when have you seen Lanzafame?

And Giovinco is more then good. When a player shows rare talent as he has, thats when you have cause to be excited.

as for Lanzafame: I don`t need to supply proofs of when and where I saw it...

as for Giovinco: actually he has shone at Empoli who has been relegated this season and at Italy`s under 21 that is not special enough to make him the next big thing
altough I am a fan of Giovinco and think he has some great talent in his feets
I agree he could be great but despite what you say he hasn`t shown anything yet...

You dont need to supply proof :howler:

Just admit it already. You think he is the best striker talent in the world suddenly because you got suckered by a cheap CRon comparison by the media. You cant have seen him because he plays in Serie B (if you had, you would have said this or that of how he is in his thread, where everyone has posted tons, but no one had seen him until this past week), and the first time he is available for us fans to see him, its now in toulon. And he has has two decent substitutions and one start. Thats it. Thats the whole hoopla you proclaim him to have the potential to be the best striker in the world.

Funny you have no problem jumping to galactic conclusions about Lanzafame, but Gio who has proven what a rare player he is by actually dominating the fuck outta azzurrini like no other in recent history (also praised to the skies by every calcio profile, from coaches to former players etc), is deemed as not to have proven anything yet :D

You don`t need to convince me that Giovinco will be great as I agree
BUT he hasn`t done anything yet!!!
hasn`t won any major trophy since he just played with Empoli

as for Lanzafame I won`t get into the when and where I saw him play and you just need to mature a bit and you`ll understand why

The best striker talent in the world I wouldn`t go that far

He could be the best striker in the world but so do others
If you didn`t get what I`m trying to say then I say it again HE HAS TALENT AND COULD BE which means he could be not 100% will be...!!! the best striker in the world

he has charesteristics which others don`t have and that is why I`m hyping him

I don`t say he should start next year and he should be given the captain armband
I said we should give him a chance to shine as he simply has talent wethere you want to believe it or not

Indeed Goggo. But to clarify, the reason he is compared to CRon is the move he makes here before he passes to Marchisio (and generally how he runs).

Chi sale e chi scende, chi arriva e chi parte.

Secco e Marotta ci stanno pensando.

GILBERTO SILVA: 35%.

AQUILANI: 20%, in ribasso. Una pista difficilissima. L’offerta della Juve: 20 milioni più Iaquinta. La risposta della Roma: no, grazie.

PASQUAL: 20%.

VARGAS (Catania, 25, esterno sinistro): 15%. Fiorentina in pole, con Napoli in agguato.

SCHWEINSTEIGER (Bayern Monaco, 23, centrocampista): 15%. Per quella italiana no.

HAMSIK (Napoli, 21, centrocampista): 10%. Per De Laurentis è praticamente incedibile.
SAGNOL (Bayern Monaco, 31, esterno destro): 10%. Davanti alla Juve c’è il Milan.
MAKOUN (Lilla, 25, centrocampista): 10%.

MARQUEZ (Barcellona, 29, difensore centrale): 5%.
LUGANO (Fenerbahce, 27, difensore): 5%
KEITA (Siviglia): 0%.
