As much as I like Zambrotta and we can all agree that is among the best full-backs in the world. I wouldn't take him back since he jump ships in our worst moments. The only way i would take him back is if he would say that he made a mistake and wants to comeback.
Zambrotta left, but of all those who did, only him & Ibra could claim to be at the peak of their careers. Ibra slated us, despite only being there for 2 seasons. Zambro was with us for 7 seasons & nearly 300 games, giving him much more reason to be frustrated at the situation. Yet all he seemed to do was say "no comment", like here;

Zambrotta: "I spent seven great seasons with Juventus. I will miss playing there this year. I really don’t want to comment on whether it was fair or not."

Ibra, Thuram, Vieira & Mutu all said much worse. Canna kept his dignity too. Zambro would improve us, so of course I'd enjoy to see him back.

Translation: There would be not only Drogba, Silva and Lampard among the objectives of Sports director Alessio Secco journey at London. Between the "discontent" of Arsene Wenger, Juventus would have identify a reinforce for defensive line: William Gallas, 30 year-old, at Arsenal from 2006 after 5 years to Chelsea.

More rumours. Not sure about Gallas, he is a great defender, quick, strong, fast, versatile. Trouble is, the guy is never happy. "Dont play me at LB", "Who we signing now", "Why did you sell him"

on second thought he might work in Serie A..he doesnt have the pace for the Premiership anymore..but his experience could help him a big deal in Serie A

Cannavaro was also in his peak of his career and I never said about whether or not he commented about Juve. All I said is that I didn't like the fact that he left us when we were sent to Serie B.

I hate to hear people say that. Juventus FC fucked up, not Zambrotta or Cannavaro or Ibrahimovic so why the hell should they have stunted their careers to help a club who caused it's own demise? None of those players owed Juve anything and I don't hold anything against any of them for leaving because if I was at the top of my game and my club went and got relegated for match fixing I would've left too.

Major props to DP, Neddy, Gigi, Camo and Trez for staying. I have so much respect for them, but I don't disrespect those who left.

I would take Zambrotta back in a heart beat. I don't hold a grudge against him for leaving. He was in the prime of his career, and he had to do what he had to do. He felt betrayed by his club for what happened, so how can you blame him? It was a hard time for all Juve fans seeing your favorite players leaving and seeing your team going to Serie B. I'm sure it was just as hard to leave a team you loved for 7 years so bring on the Zambrotta please. Now he just needs to want to come to us.

Plus I even think he was a Barca fan when he was young but don't quote me on that because I did watch him in the Mirrored Room on Barca TV and he definitely was in head to toe Barca gear when he was like 10. He also talked about how much he loved Juventus and the atmosphere of it. All he had was kind words. So I would take him back although I doubt he will be back but, I can wish.

I don't want him back. Zambrotta was theoretically the first of the lot to push his way through the door, but at least he didn't lie to the fans a la Cannavaro or talked shit about Juve after he left a la Thuram.

How did Cannavaro ' lie ' to the fans?

The question is: Does he wants to get back in the first place ?
Probably not, but we can hope can't we?

Before our relegation, Cannavaro stated he would stay with Juventus "all the way to Serie C." Four weeks later, he jumped ship and ended up in Madrid.
Yeah I remember that but, I remember there being more to that. I don't have the exact quote but, he said I would stay with Juve all the way to Serie C but, he can't risk his career since he only has a couple of good years left and he doesn't know when Juve will be out of Serie B.
