Tiago turned out to be a flop . He just couldn't adapt to serie A .I hate to see him go like that though . He was suppossed to be our most promising player and he turned outto be really bad .

It's still early though , Ranieri should start him for a few games to at least give him a chance to play well . I think the reason he has looked to be so bad so far is not because of his bad performances but because of Zanetti and Nocerino's good performances so far . He's competing with Almiron for a spot in the starting 11 right now and I think Almiron has a slight advantage because of his experience in serie A .

Juventus Eye Up 'New Barzagli’

Juventus are eyeing up a January transfer bid for young Cagliari centre-back Michele Canini.

The 22-year-old ex-Italy Under-21 international, was regarded as one of the most promising young defenders in Italy. However a serious injury ruled him out for most of last season and questions were asked whether he would return as the same player.

However Canini is now back and many are labelling the youngster as the 'New Andrea Barzagli’, after the Palermo stopper. Juventus are in desperate need of defenders after Jorge Andrade broke his kneecap against Roma in week four, and was all but ruled out for the rest of the season.

A host of stoppers have been linked with the Bianconeri, including Branislav Ivanovic, Tomas Ujfalusi, Diego Lugano, Luisao and even Luigi Di Biagio.

Coach Claudio Ranieri believes that Canini will fit in perfectly with Juventus’ new system of buying developing youngsters, rather than established stars.

La Vecchia Signora already have a plethora of promising young talents on their books coming through, including 20-year-old wonderkid Sebastian Giovinco, Domenico Criscito, Raffaele Palladino, Cristian Molinaro, Claudio Marchisio and Paolo De Ceglie.

That's seriously the most idiotic "the new..." ever. I wouldn't take Barzagli let alone someone who has the potential to be like him.

Wow. 2 Italians, VDV on left wing (which is not even his position) and Huntelaar and Trezeguet upfront? Grow up son, that won´t work.
