I think you should support Aberdeen and stop disagreeing with me.

kthnx :)
I seem to be able to do both fine at the moment, though I don't think I disagree with you particularly often.

I just feel that we are unlikely to sign a good enough player to be a starter in defence for us. Roma's second goal was embarrassingly bad defending, but I think the solution is more to do with the current players getting a better understanding with each other, rather than bringing in a new player.

I would be quite happy to start the season with the current squad, but Ranieri has to realise that we must play at least one of Zanetti and Nocerino to give the defence the protection it needs.

nah i mean criscito is proving himself as i had expected i think its just a matter of letting him and andrade gel
True. We can always play Boumsong or Legrottaglie when one of them is injured or suspended so it's all good.

I guess we could make do with what we have because Chiellini can play there but another quality player in that position couldn't hurt.

exactly my thoughts the only reason we would have to play boum or legro is if molinaro and criscito were injured which (please god) would never happen

another thing was in the 2nd half when Salihamidzic was moved to RB our defence looked a lot better...perhaps he should be our starting RB? and i see a healthy competition developing between Molinaro and Chiellini for the LB position

Not sure. I think Spain will suit him but Madrid have a habit of 'doing an Inter' and ruining good players.
I often used to accuse Milan of doing the same thing, but they seem to have settled down for the moment!

:agree: ffs he was 1 player I was dying to see @ Juve...o well
Unless there's some "last minute shopping" the market's over for us...
BTW, I honestly can't remember, did I say I noticed you took my advice?

I watched a sports show on Dutch television last night and the Ajax director confirmed that Sneider has been sold to Real for 27 million, Drenthe is on the verge of signing for about 14 million to Real as well. Let's face it guys, we cannot afford those numbers right now.
Besides Koeman the former Feyenoord coach stated Real signed Drenthe was seen as the replacement for Roberto Carlos by Real while he is no defender. According to Koeman who worked with him last year said that Drenthe is a left midfielder who makes too many mistakes to be a defender. He showed signs of brilliance at times but only has one season under his belt and that a move like this came far too soon.
