Torino won’t sell Rosina

Torino chief Urbano Cairo has warned admirers of Alessandro Rosina that the youngster is untransferable.

Rosina is the talk of Italian football right now given his stunning campaign in Turin where his dribbling and silky skills have caught the eye.

Numerous big clubs across Europe are monitoring his ability, but the Granata owner has insisted that Rosina is going nowhere.

“He is not leaving Torino and that’s all I’ll say, otherwise some unfounded whispers could start doing the rounds,” stated Cairo on Thursday evening.

“Rosina always gives his maximum on the field of play and he’s a boy who has an unbelievable love for the game.”

Although Cairo insists that he’s not willing to sell the Under-21 international, he’s also in no hurry to tie him down to a new long-term contract either.

“We will do all that we have to do when the time is right,” insisted the businessman. “His contract doesn’t run out until 2009 which means there is no rush.”

Cairo was also quizzed on rumours suggesting that Toro are preparing a summer bid for Andrea Caracciolo.

“The transfer market is something which is some distance away right now,” the President responded.

Caracciolo is known to be on the Granata’s wish-list after admitting that he’s looking to leave Palermo at the end of the season.

That's what I was afraid of, Torino would resist the transfer of Rosina as hard as they can.

They would never sell him to Juve anyway.
