Malouda! He'd certainly be a good option for our left wing, not that expensive, reasonably young, hard working and very skilled and pacey. He's been on a great level of performance consistently for some years now at Lyon, he'd certainly be worth looking at.

I was impressed with this kid during the Lyon-Milan clash. I think he's really good and can add creativity we severly miss. I am not sure the Juventus management look at him as a replacement for Nedved, he does not bring them enough shirt sales.

He impressed me too..
Very skillful player.

But don't you think he lacks a little bit in terms of physique?

If I could select one player from Lyon's squad to join Juventus I'd select Diarra.

Malouda lacking in physique??? No way! He's one tough athletic player.
True his an ideal winger for us. As for him being cheap I dont think that would be necessarily true. Lyon aint exactly a little club and have sold plenty of there stars before at quite heavy prices I wont be suprised if they sold molouda for a truckload.

The shirt sales will follow soon enough, when Malouda starts ripping apart the opposition's defences.
A policy that used to be followed by the Juve management, now they are after Vieiras and Ballacks.

Good point, he probably wouldn't be THATcheap. That being said, he'd probably be a lot cheaper than a lot of the big name options such as Vicente and Cristiano Ronaldo (who's very very crap anyway) or indirect other options such as Rosicky and Riquelme. Malouda is not a hyped player such as them and thus might not be all too expensive... relatively.

Hmm agree BTW since when were we linked with vicente?. I agree with cristiano being crap, and its true if its any worth splashing out best ti splash it out on a player whose not too hyped. As for maloudas price, its best if we get him before the World cup rather than afterwards because I can see this guy shine.

I think there was no need to open a thread for this, there is already a thread for who do you think is good for Juve, USE IT.
You seem to like posting in here so I guess it can stay up. :D

From now on this is the only thread to talk about players we think would fit perfectly with Juve even if they're not linked with them. If you don't agree we could have a meeting and discuss about it. Ah hell, we'll drink up instead. :pint: :D

Anyway, to be on-topic. I would go for a young defender to replace the aging Lilian. Barzagli is the only Italian I see that could do the job. He's solid in the air and plays with Terlizzi and Biava. Meaning he does the job for 2 players.:p

Me too, bring me back Lippi's low profile squads.

:agree: Definately. Those Moggi/Lippi squads that consisted of the best players from the relative minnows.

I think we were slightly linked with Vicente two years ago, but nothing substantial. He was just a wild example anyway.
I also agree on the rest of your post by the way. If Malouda gets a starting role, he'll certainly do well. Though I think the juve management is doing exactly the opposite, they'll watch out for a star performing on the WC and afterwards try to sign him. Frankly, I can see some logic in that as well.

I don't think it is Capello who is bringing these high profile players, I think it is all under Moggi's responsibility. Remember the day where Lippi left (the first one), before Ancelotti, we already signed Thuram then, and then we got Nedved Buffon.

and also we were linked with Emerson and Vieira for a long time ago.
