Dule living on his pension plan? no way!

We're linked to Peñarol young forward Abel Hernàndez. I guess Montero recommended him. He's a Henry "type" player. Napoli wants him too.

Apparently Kolo Toure has handed in a transfer request in Arsenal.

Not saying this because I want us to sign him, sure when he was his usual self, even if not a top D even then (now he is just have had a melt down in competence). But to highlight why one of the calmest and nicest guy in the sport, feels the need to leave the club he is one of the longest serving players in. And yes, unsuprisingly, its because of the guy who fights everywhere he goes (NT too, not just clubs), and is a total grade asshole. William Gallas.

i think gallas will end up leaving, kolo wouldve said something along the lines of if he doesnt go i will. so my guess is that gallas will leave and kolo will stay.

i just found this

Arsenal chairman Peter Hill-Wood has revealed he has turned down a transfer request from defender Kolo Toure.

The centre-back has failed to secure a regular first team spot this season and Manchester City are thought to be considering a bid.

Hill-Wood is aware that the £10million-rated Ivory Coast international has indicated that he is keen to leave Emirates Stadium, but he insists the Gunners are not looking to sell.

"I know about it (the transfer request)," Hill-Wood said in the Daily Star. "But we are not going to accept it.

"We are not looking to let any of our players go and he is under contract - and we expect him to honour it."

Toure joined Arsenal seven years ago and is the last member of 'The Invincibles' squad, which remained undefeated for the duration of 2003/04, still at the club.

The time has come for the club to spend big on quality midfielders and fullbacks in the market, if we are to close the gap on Inter and put up a challenge against Chelsea in the Champions league, no more signing unknown or mediocre players.
