According to the Spanish newspaper AS, Real wants to sell Van der Vaart after this season.

Does it say why?? And does anyone know how has he been doing?? I find this hard to believe but then again they haven't paid too much for him. Maybe they could even make some money on him?? Things like this happened before with Real Madrid. I am not too keen on him anymore.

Drenthe is not juve-material.
Long time since I heard that one. :howler:

i would like to have drenthe at juve..but not as nedved succesor..
As what in that case??

we had a topic about that .. i donno if it's still open for posting ..

Sure. U know i have a gift. I can see pipols future. Therefor I can see if a footballer has talent enough to fit in Juves greatness. And my sixth sense tells me that Drenthe does not have the right abilities to go along with Juve. He lacks something. Its hard to put a finger to it, but it could the Madrid-spirit.

Ok Jack I might not seem too convincing here, its just that I really dont think hes the right guy.:) I honestly dont think hes good enough.
peace
That is one thing but saying not Juve material is a different one. There is no such phrase and it certainly has no meaning.

la_fidanzata...one question...i understand that drenthe is not juve material...but how about molinaro, marchionni and knezevic?...they surely are not more juve material that drenthe is, but still they are playing for juve.
Well said...

Well you can't be happy with every signing we make. Rest assured I didn't want Knezevic, Molinaro is a sort of Juve youth product and Marchionni was free. These are squad players except Moli who pretty much everyone wants to replace. Drenthe is supposed to be our major coup for the summer and replace Nedved (a Ballon d'or winner). That's where I see the difference, it's like somebody saying few years ago that ok, we sold Zidane and here's his replacement the great Marco Marchionni.

I think Drenthe is awesome and defn has what it takes to be Nedved's replacement in the starting 11.

He can totally dominate the left, just like Nedved could in his day. He is young, super talented, and does alot of work.

I would really love to see Drenthe as our starting LM and De Ceglie as our starting LB.. that would be sick and they would work well together I think.

Drenthe will be one of the best in the world.
Drenthe looked about the best of the Real players facing up against Barça on Saturday night and, apart from the the opportunity he squandered when clean through on Valdes, worked hard and played with a fair amount of skill.

He possess an number of attributes that make him a candidate to replace Pavel next summer.

Meanwhile, I'm excited about the prospect of either Daniel Agger or Ryan Babel donning the bianconero shirt.

Ryan Babel oh noooo!!!!??? I am amazed if u see this mofo possess qualities to fill a role in juventus or any other team besides lfc and perhaps boro. There is so little smartness in his moves with or without a football. He has pace and nothing more. He never does the right things, and he has never played a good game.

Agger, yes please. Wont happen though.

ok. dont agree with u though. Dont think hes a good dribbler, and he does not score alot of them goals. Yes he has pace, but pace is soo twothousandandseven;)

I would bet with any of you who thinks he´ll be an over avererage good footballer. He simply lacks the smartness i think:)

There is no way anyone can deny Babels dribbling skills. Not too keen on him, but you have to blind to not see his dribbling skills.

But Agger, heck yes, please sign him right away.
