They've been talking for ages about this but no confirmation. We could give Samp the other half of Mirante's contract to make it easier. Rampulla loves the kid so we might have a shot.

Can someone please share a little light on what kind of a player Sofiane Feghouli is. We're supposedly interested in him along with rest of europe and he's "The Next Zidane" so just curious.

I just watched their game with Nancy. Feghouli didn't play well in that game, but i can tell you he's a creative attacking midfielder. And since he's country of origin is Algeria it was inevitable that he would be labeled the "new Zidane" (ala Nasri, Meghni etc). He looks talented, but he's still too raw(from what i've seen) imo.

Meghni has always looked impressive off the bench though. He isnt as much of a hard worker like Mauri is, maybe thats why Delio doesn't play him.

Juventus on Drenthe trail

Dutch midfielder Royston Drenthe could be the successor to Pavel Nedved at Juventus, according to the latest rumours.

Czech legend Nedved is expected to hang his boots up at the end of the current campaign, leaving the Old Lady with the tough task of finding a new left winger.

The Bianconeri have had a while to prepare for Nedved's retirement, as he had seemed set to quit football after the 2006 World Cup and again last summer.

And according to a variety of newspapers, the Juve directors have identified Real Madrid man Drenthe as the best option.

The 21-year-old joined the Merengues from Feyenoord in 2007, but he made a limited impact after falling out with former boss Bernd Schuster.

It remains to be seen whether new tactician Juande Ramos takes a different approach to the talented youngster, but he may already have set his heart on a fresh challenge.

Juve may have to dig deep in their pockets to secure Drenthe's services because Real paid around £12m for him and would be likely to demand at least that fee for his sale.

Sure. U know i have a gift. I can see pipols future. Therefor I can see if a footballer has talent enough to fit in Juves greatness. And my sixth sense tells me that Drenthe does not have the right abilities to go along with Juve. He lacks something. Its hard to put a finger to it, but it could the Madrid-spirit.

Ok Jack I might not seem too convincing here, its just that I really dont think hes the right guy.:) I honestly dont think hes good enough.

la_fidanzata...one question...i understand that drenthe is not juve material...but how about molinaro, marchionni and knezevic?...they surely are not more juve material that drenthe is, but still they are playing for juve.
