Seriously, thats BS. I want a new coach, because I glaringly think Ranieri has shown he is not good enough. If a new coach is good enough, why would I whinge?

And Lippi is my all time favourite coach, but I have been saying for years he shouldnt come back, so that shit doesnt fly either.

And any hint of me wanting Moggi to do something for us again, even in the most harmless jokish way, will get that mofo stabbed for even insinuating it :ferocious

Ranieri rejects Diego bid
Tuesday 9 December, 2008

A possible move for Werder Bremen midfielder Diego seems to have split the Juventus camp in half.

The Old Lady are expected to strengthen their squad in the New Year to help their Scudetto push.

Brazilian international Diego has long been a target and there have even been discussions between the player's agent and father and Juve officials.

However, it seems that Juventus boss Claudio Ranieri isn't so convinced that Diego would be a good signing.

According to Tuttosport, Ranieri has argued with Juve directors because he doesn't think Diego would fit his 4-4-2 system.

“Diego is a great talent, but he is a trequartista,” Ranieri explained.

“We would have to change our system to fit him in and one of our wingers would have to be benched.

“In the end I would rather stick with the men that we have, even if we need some back-up.”

OHHHH NOOOOO! We can't bench the lame duck Marchionni and the 37 year-old Nedved. Good job Ranieri.
I'm not going to whine about Ranieri but that is seriously disturbing. His way of rejecting any new great, creative players which would require adjusting the formation. I'm not that crazy about Diego type of players (although I do like them) but we could really use that type of player...

It is a lot of bullshit.

I can't wait until Ranieri is gone because I don't respect him as a coach. He's like the George Bush of managers with his inane comments and his tactics.

Should have kept Deschamps.

It's just absurd. We see the same treatment of Giovinco to boot.

Fucking word. Our mercato would have been so much better with Deschamps, last year especially.

I really can't wait to hear you lot whinging about a new coach...

If your saying your ok with Ranieri, then imo thats a serious lack of ambition.

To be completely fair to Ranieri, he's done a decent enough job with all the injuries he's had to cope with. But one cant help but think Ranieri sooner or later will fuck up, he's proven many times throughout his career, that he just isn't good enough to win a league. Why do you think that would change with Juve??

I don't rate Ranieri particularly highly, nor can I see us winning a major trophy with him.

My point was that people are just criticising him for the sake of it a lot of the time and I would question whether they will truly be satisfied with any manager, almost regardless of how well he does.

+1

as andy said...if gio who has skills and a power unseen on his age to create opportunities and loads of good passes has 90 minutes of playin in 5 months (and marchionni has his first 11 spot assured), than diego isn't for ranieri's juve. He said it, and that's what it will be, he won't change his 4-4-2 neither with regginas like teams. We must accept this, and speak about other players but no CAM's :(

That is true. But then again its almost understandable.

Too many folk just criticise him for everything and never give praise on the occasions it is due.

There is a lack of objectivity. Not enough people treat each action on it's own merits and not just by sticking to their normal view of always praising (Lampard plus a few) or criticising (too many to mention) Ranieri, depending on their overall view of him.
