Juve face Schweinsteiger hurdle

Friday 28 November, 2008
Juventus’ proposed bid to sign Bayern Munich’s Bastian Schweinsteiger will not just depend on the player’s wishes – but that of his girlfriend.

It’s no secret that the Turin giants are hoping to sign the German international in the summer on a free transfer.

The midfielder is seen by many in Turin as the ideal replacement for 36-year-old Pavel Nedved who could finally hang up his boots at the end of the campaign.

However, reports in Italy today claim that Schweinsteiger will also have to convince his partner Sarah Brandner to accept the move.

Brandner is an up and coming German model who is relatively well known in her homeland, but not that widely recognised abroad.

As a result, she may prefer Schweinsteiger to put his dreams of playing in a different League on hold for the immediate future.

The midfielder is only contracted to the Munich outfit until June which means he would be free to sign for another club in January.

“I am tempted by a foreign experience,” noted the player recently. “But I have to admit that I am also very happy at Bayern.”

The Bundesliga giants are keen to retain the powerful German. “We’ll do all that we can to keep him,” noted chief Karl Heinze Rummenigge.

Real Madrid and Milan are also thought to be keen on making Schweinsteiger an attractive Bosman offer.

 Let's see who as the pants between the two. My guess would be the girlfriend. Same sh*t as Frings last year.

And we're not going to play Mourinho's 4-3-3 anyways.
That so called 4-3-3 "mourinho's" is the same formation that beat us, imbred. We were outplayed. Where were Amauri & Del piero during that game? Nowhere. Because our midfield is utter shit, the lack of technical players and creativity is a joke. Players like Marchisio and a 35 year old nedved will not win you CL's and scudetto's you deluded fool. This is why the club needs to finally invest in first class players or forget about winning anything.

Tiago better than Moutinho? a player that has done nothing for two season. Now i know your an imbecile.
If Moutinho is so great, I assume that Sporting have been rejecting approaches from heaps of big clubs?

Only Everton have been lined with him.

He isn't even the best player at Sporting, Veloso is.

before you start calling people inbreds and cack or whatever, i myself know when i say stupid and controversial things, most of the time i say it on purpose because i like stirring up controversy, except the fact i do actually believe chiellini should be on that fucking balon d'or shortlist. but heres a piece of intellegent words for you. but you are a serious one, and has a mind of a true retard, its people like you that makes me grateful that people like secco are in charge of juve and not you

yeah sorry amauri and del piero were canceled out of the game due to tactical genius, not the fact they are any less in quality than what inter had upfront, our midfield is not 'utter shit' when you consider we had no poulsen, tiago our secondary ace in the pack came off injured, zanetti is out anyways, that only left us with marchisio we were simply too predictable with the ammount of injuries, something ranieri couldnt do much about, hell i doubt even lippi would of changed much if anything himself with what we had left. players like moutinho are less likely to win us cls and scudettos than our current players who provide youth and experience like marchisio and nedved do. WTF is so special about moutinho? he offers alot less than any of our current midfielders offer. hes still very raw, and for his price, he might aswell f*ck off to inter and choke along with di maria, who im more than happy to pass up on because i dont want our club to spend ridiculous ammounts of money on players who guarantee NOTHING! investing in first class players wont bring silverware, you should perhaps take a good look at juve red's sig and understand that money doesnt buy you a soul at a club, and thats something im proud to say juve has, and thats the core reason why we've been so successful, and not because we thrash out money on nobodies. if you dont understand our DNA then send me your address and ill send you a inter shirt for xmas with moutinho on the back

@ alex'10

Please tell me more about Moutinho and Di Maria, you seemed to really want them at Juve, so I guess you've seen them play many times, right? Well you have to since you mention them all the time. How are they playing this season, what are their strong and weak points? Or better yet, what exact positions have the played?
