I really hope we make some buys this winter
We need a DC DR CM
Zapata would fit
DR is still a mistery
CM Aquilani could fit Xabi Alonso can do the defensive work as well as an attacking work
I personally prefer someone who could be a leader like Fabregas (who is impossible target)
someone said Ribery he is a player that organizes a game but I am afraid he is too attacking for the formation
Diego is also a good player but he is not a leader and he is very attacking too and not sure how much he would fit

Lets get Wenger and let him convince Fabregas to join us and then our mid would rock

so what do u want us to play? a 9-0-1? how can a player like diego be to offensive? or even ribery... isn't it their job to creat chances and to score? i mean u can see how hard is it to score when u r not attacking (like we do now) playing with 2dm.... ah and what about gio? isn't he to offensive too? and sorry yes diego can be a leader... without him bremen would fight for 10th place...

I wonder what happened to Pasqual in the last year and a half. He's been brilliant in 2005/06, even better in 2006/07 but he was awful last year and i wonder why 1 bad season by Pasqual made Fiorentina invest a lot in another LB.
Was he injured ? Were there some internal problems between him and Prandelli/board ?

I remember that if he didn't play he was on the bench so i don't think there is a serious injury in question. If there were problems between him and Prandelli he'd have been sold after they bought Vargas, but they didn't.

It's really a strange situation. He was the best LB in serie A and he got called for the NT when he was 23-25 but at 26 he stopped performing and he lost his spot in the team.

He was just standout for one season, assisting like mad with crosses to Tonis 30 goals, but he was average before that season, and average since then after that. Yes its related to injuries, since he missed half a season, so a clear factor, but mainly he just didnt repeat that seasons performances.

Ofcourse he is better then Molinaro and hence litterally would be an improvement, but proceed with caution when you are evaluating his quality. Because despite us not being able to sink lower then we are in LB, atleast one of them, he would be still a risk because he is, and not trying to be harsh, a one season wonder.

I know some people want Corvino(me included once) but this guy should be our new GM IMO and the guy in my av as Prez and mercato consultant.
