If he is for free, getting Schweini is an absolute fucking must. He isnt great, but he is quite good. Not too fond of him personally (and would prefer other signings), but he would strenghten our squad for sure, no doubting it. Would be lovely not to have to see Sali and Marchionni starting anymore.

Swein is great. And he won't be a buckup...

I just hope this is true...

He is not great, that term is used too lightly, there are tons of top players better then him. But he is quite good and useful player.
He is great. His first seasons with Bayern were awesome. Then something got wrong with him and Bayern. Ribery came and he was the main cretivity force of the team. In the Euro when Germane reached the final he was one of the best players...

Just imagine something like this...

-------Poulsen--------------Sissoko---------

--Camo----Swein/Neddy----Giovinco/Del--

-----------Amauri/Treza/IQ------------------

schweini is not great but i have followed his progress for a while now and i always thought that there was a second gear to his game. I think he does not take that extra step because he is simply lazy, and if we can get him to step a more than he will be a very good player for us.

Bastian is a great player, who wouldnt want him on their team? And if he's free, that would be even better. Camo is 30/31, we could definitely use Bastian on this squad. If Secco can pull this off then maybe he is not as bad of a transfer guru as everyone makes him to be.

I'm not a fan of Schweinsteiger's fiery tempermant, but it's really not that different from Nedved's or Camoranesi's. He's versatile, he's free, and therefore he's right up the board's alley. However, I sense that he'll end up signing a contract with Bayern in the next couple of months.

I guess you are right but if not then our next transfer market would probably consist of Ledesma and Schweini

by the way did Aquilani sign a new contract already

Juve linked to Ledesma Friday 26 September, 2008

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Juventus are being linked with a swoop for Lazio midfielder Cristian Ledesma if he becomes a free agent next summer.

The Bianconeri are still lacking options in midfield and are being widely linked to German international Bastian Schweinsteiger.

Ledesma has won many admirers with his work at Lazio over the last few seasons but he is at odds with the club after a public contract wrangle.

According to Tuttosport, Ledesma will use FIFA's Article 17 to liberate himself from his contract, which expires in 2011, next summer.

Lazio President Claudio Lotito has shown few signs of being willing to compromise and it seems the Old Lady will have the chance to pick up a bargain.

The Argentine ace would jump at the chance to join the Turin giants, but his future may be linked to that of Tiago Mendes, who refused several transfer opportunities presented to him this summer.
