I want Samir Handanovic as Buffon's successor.
He's a quality 'keeper. Marco Viviano is also a very very good keeper! Mirante isn't a that reliable and I think he's a mid-table team kind of keeper judging from his 1st two games so far (conceded 3 - tough opposition, Inter/Lazio)
I want Cesc Fabregas. Ok I know I'm dreaming, but watching him (and Arsenal for that matter!) is a real treat. This guy is a genius, he'll come up with something so quickly, so class, such a natural talent. Buuuuuuutttt....our manager barely has the capacity to field Giovinco, let alone convince Secco to lure a superstar like Cesc. If I say that's asking too much...damn it's like asking for Pamela Anderson to come and join me in bed tonight.
Iago anyone? (not..to join me in bed! Focus people!)
I want a solid rock in defense. Chiellini's partner in crime. Legrottaglie as I posted in the Legro thread is a short term solution. We need someone who's long term. It looked like Criscito isn't Juve-material after getting owned by Roma (Totti) last year. But you can't judge a one-off IMO...personally I don't know how his loan spell at Genoa was. Last Sunday, he did play the full 90 minutes in defense vs. the "mighty"Dinho, Seedorf, Sheva, Kaka', Borriello; and they didn't concede!
From Casiraghi's U-21 NT - Santacroce is a potential starlet at Napoli, Andrea Coda from Udinese is OK.
I really liked Pepe, but if I remember correctly he ditched us for Real Madrid...or Secco wasn't able to give him a decent offer.
Skrtel of Liverpool is a solid player, had a decent game vs. Man Utd.
Speaking of which Xabi Alonso was really good in that game too. Shame we couldn't sign him this summer.
