Have you seen Legro's second half of the season? (or just in general our defence this season) Even a his best, do you think he is good enough for CL and scudetto asipirations?

Standardo is crap, Andrade is broken in half and is also mediocre if he can be healthy enough in more then 3 games (he played 4 games, and has been out for 9 months now...). Chiellini is good, but is still raw and needs quality CB next to him. Grygera is an AWFUL CB, and Mellberg is a pretty solid CB, good, but someone we should look at as competetive squad player instead of permanent starter.

so you just mentioned 5 CBs (discounting Grygera) we paid a bundle for Andrade and along with chiellni and mellberg they are the core of our defense the rest is subs. WE DONT NEED CBs

Doesnt really need to be big time CB, but someone like Zapata, or Alex from Chelsea's bench, or other good suprises.


Right now, our defence is basically full of Senderos quality.

You have ten million reasons for why are mediocre defence is good enough, but you did not even mention a single one? It needs to make sense and right now it doesnt? Whats that supposed to mean?

Defence is a priority, and if our board ignores it like they did last summer, then our board needs reshuffling of its think tank. This season we were only saved from collapse by desperate measures like an unwanted Bidone D'Or winner and a left back who was tried as CB as a last resort. Lets not repeat the same errors.
