Cordoba (Inter), Ferrari (Roma), Solari (Inter), Tonetto (Roma), Ujfalusi (Fiorentina)

PS: I really doubt that Ivan Cordboa is out of contract at the end of the year since he has been a vital player for Inter. What is your source?>

Whatever, Moggi was around:D
You were wrong, just admit it

How many Manchester United fans are there in this forum?> From the EPL the only team I LIKE is Arsenal bc of their playing style and their coach who I consider a genious. Arsene Wenger is always looking out after the club and doesn't ask for new players every transfer window. + he doesn't comment on problems within the locker room.
I believe there is 1 utd follower on this forum: M_ellayan

I'm not a Man Utd fan, but of the big four, they are my prefered team.
No way, out of the big 4 my favourite are arsenal, and i can't stand them, so you can imagine my feelings towards the other 3

Well Cordoba is a great player and if there is a chance lets get him but there probably isn`t
as for Solari don`t rate him much the same goes for Tonetto
as for Ferrari I think he has potential (remember him in his Parma years...)
as for Ujfalusi he is not bad in FM but I don`t know how good he is at the real world

Tonetto is better than all our LB's of this season, i'm including Chiellini as a CB since he played there for most of the season.
Solari isn't anything special, but could be a good back up as left winger, and could be used if we don't get a Nedved replacement.
Ferrari is an average-to-good defender, he is roughly Legro's talent.
Ujfalusi can play as RB and CB, and is good in both positions. Though i believe he is a better CB. He would be a very good addition to our team.

Tonetto and Ujfalusi are a must. The former is a far better player than Molinaro and the latter is a better player than Legrottaglie, Stendardo, Grygera and perhaps even Andrade after the injury. We could also use Uja on the right and see if he's an upgrade to Zebina, which he is defensively.

If we don't secure at least one of these players I'm going to be extremely angry.

Solari would be a great pick up too, IMO.

Below is the complete list of players whose contract will expire in June. Which would you choose and why?

Alberto (Siena); Adani (Empoli); Balleri (Livorno); Balli (Empoli); Ballotta (Lazio); Bega (Cagliari); Bertotto (Siena); Birindelli (Juventus); Cafu (Milan); Cardone (Parma); Castellazzi (Samp); Cesar (Inter); Coly (Parma); Cordoba (Inter); Corini (Torino); Couto (Parma); De Rosa (Genoa); Favalli (Milan); Ferrari (Roma); Figo (Inter); Fontana (Palermo); Fontana (Torino);
Fortin (Cagliari); Frick (Siena); Langella (Atalanta); Lazetic (Torino); Liverani (Fiorentina);
Maldini (Milan); Morfeo (Parma); Nedved (Juventus); Orlandoni (Inter); Ronaldo (Milan); Serginho (Milan); Solari (Inter); Tare (Lazio); Tonetto (Roma); Ujfalusi (Fiorentina); Vieri (Fiorentina)
I doubt Cordoba will leave on a free and even if he is, he wouldn't want to join Juve.

Cesar is a good player than can play LB but I'd get De Ceglie back instead and start him over Molinaro. Duh!

Ferrari is ok but I want a solid CB next to Chiellini. Zapata or Carvalho.

Not a fan of Solari. We have many options at that position + IF we buy a creative mid(Diego) then we wouldn't need Solari. If we're gonna sign one then might as well get a very good one.

Not a fan of Tonetto either. De Ceglie over him any time. Roma want Vargas to replace Max. He would have been my pick if we can't get rid of Molinaro or can't get De Ceglie back from those f*ckin' co-ownership deals.

Ufo is great and I prefer seeing him play at CB. We already have Mellberg so I doubt we would get him to play CB. I would like to see him go up more often and work a bit more on his crosses if we were to play him at RB and got 4-5m €. If we can't get good $$$ for Johnny then I'd keep him.

Solari is more of a left-winger than anything else. We don't have a real left-winger. IMO Solari is a quality player.

If we play with a playmaker then we wouldn't need a LW with Neddy and Giovinco on the bench. The 4-4-2 would be a goner with our new coach. :D

We aren't even sure that Neddy will be playing with us next season. + we need to add depth to our squad so that we can compete in the league, CL & Cup. Lets not forget what happened to Lazio during the start of the season (injuries affected them both in the league and CL)

Neddy is playing this year so he can play the CL with Juve next year. Having Diego, Giovinco and Neddy(part-time player/youth coach/scout) would be enough.

I would like to know what is it that Makes ManU such a never say die club? I was watching the ManU- Tottenham game and ManU were completely owned by Tottenham 1-0 until it was like the 92 or 93rd minute where they scored an equalizer with 15-20 seconds only left. And ManU does it quite often..I've watched countless games of them where they were rightly tied/losing games only to make late comebacks in the last minute(s). that's what I call a winner attitude.

and then I look back at the Juve-Inter game and how Camo is sent off. People were claiming that it was alright since the game was over..but really teams like ManU prove that you must never give up. no one can say that Camo was right to do what he did..nor can they say that the game was over anyways and still come and say with a straight face that Juve is a winner club. Winners don't give up until the final whistle.

sorry for the ot rant but I find the whole hypocrisy of some Juve fans amazing.

Last time I checked, we don't have the likes of Tevez, Ronaldo, Anderson, Nani, and Rooney gracing our pitch, and we weren't only one goal down, we were two goals down on aggregate. In the 15 minutes before the Mauro red we had a couple ugly shots. The match was over and ruined due to stupid decisions by Ranieri.

It's not defending Camoranesi's actions to say that he was pissed off at the situation. I probably would have gotten a red card too with that entire frustrating debacle, everything from Ranieri's stupid decisions to how Vieira was grabbing our players left and right in midfield.

Time to get over it. We do have a winner's mentality, but it's not being helped by the presence of Ranieri. He's a natural born loser.

Difference is in the manager imo..Fergie as much as i despise him is a winner period.. I cant think of any other manager that instills that kind of winning mentality in his team as much as Fergie does..He's a motivator more than he's a tactican, his motivation skills have made up for his lack of tactical skills many times imo.

IMO our transfer persiod next season should be:

Ins

Diego
Giovinco
Marchisio
De Ceglie
LB (Vargas or someone else)
Zapata
Mellberg

Outs

Tiago (it just hasn't worked, and with CR it never will)
Almiron (as above)
Criscito (Just one more season out on loan at Genoa)
Grygera (hasn't impressed and Mellberg can play his role)

Other Possibilities

Hamsik in
Palla out - Amauri or Huntelaar in
Belardi or VanStratten out - a better backup GK in

Our 1st team

---------------------------Buffon----------------------------

Zebina----------Zapata------------Chiellini----------LB (Vargas)

Camoranesi--------Zanetti---------Diego----------Nedved

----------------------Trezeguet-------Del Piero---------

Another Option

------------------------Buffon--------------------------

Zebina--------Zapata-------Chiellini------LB (Vargas)

-----Camoranesi----Zanetti------Sissoko------

-----------------------Diego---------------

--------------Del Piero------Trezeguet------

2nd team

------------------------------Belardi---------------------------

Salihamidzic-------Mellberg--------Legrottaglie-------De Ceglie

Marchionni---------Sissoko----------Nocerino/Marchisio---------Giovinco

----------------------Iaquinta-----------Palladino-----------------

This would be realistic and wouldn't cost too much, not too many changes but enough to bring us back to the top and support us in the CL. Obviously the midfield is versitile and wouldnt we weakened too much by switching it around.
