Fiat Reports 27 Percent Profit Increase
Jan 24 2008 10:44AM EST

Fiat Group SpA reported Thursday that its fourth-quarter net income climbed 27 percent on sales of new models like the iconic Fiat 500.

The company that makes autos under the Fiat, Maserati and Ferrari brands, as well as trucks and farming equipment, posted the highest trading profit in its history in 2007.

Net income at Italy's largest industrial group was 597 billion euros ($870.07 billion), up from 470 billion euros a year ago.

Fiat reported revenues of 15.8 billion euros ($23.03 billion), a 14 percent improvement over 2006 fourth quarter revenues of 13.9 euros. Officials said increased activity across all its businesses drove sales.

Fiat also said that it has eliminated its net debt in 2007 ahead of schedule and confirmed its 2008 targets.

The $$$ is there. It's just the family who needs to invest a part of it in Juve.

even if we sign a defender now, would he be able to play against livorno?

i mean, the most he would get is one day's training, he might remember the first names of his team-mates, but there is no chance he would be able to communicate with the team, unless he's italian. it would be rididculous to just throw, let's say, mellberg into the starting line-up this weekend. it might be more chaotic int he back there than if we played boom boom. we probably wouldn't even be able to use him in the coppa italia game aginst the merda.

No way I will change it. Del Piero is living probably the best season of his life, being the only player carrying the team on his shoulders and loving it. Kudos to him, I will build a statue of Del Piero in Sweden when I become rich.

Didn't we already self-destruct?
we are not using Primavera players yet....... so no we have not self-destructed...yet

tbh though. I think some of our Primavera players may have more hunger and ability to prove themselves insread of playes like Boumsong, Molinaro and Grygera.
