A tough pre-season in Val d’Aosta followed by three significant tests in the space of seven days. The Bianconeri’s pre-season preparations have stepped up considerably as they look to get their 2012/13 campaign off to the best possible start.
The players who figured for at least 45 minutes in last night’s 1-1 draw with Benfica underwent a warm-down, while the remainder of the squad conducted athletic work and possession exercises before concluding with a seven-a-side practice match played on a reduced pitch.
Tomorrow will see Juventus sustain their final training session before departing for Salerno, the venue of Saturday night’s friendly against Spanish outfit Malaga.
The clash at the Stadio Arechi will be the Bianconeri’s last workout ahead of the Italian Super Cup final, to be played on 11 August in Beijing.
