Never been a fan of Brazilians. Disliked their national team since I can remember watching football. Though the Brazil of the earlier days, 70's, deserve nothing but respect. But yeah I guess Ronaldo was something special. But when talking about the greatest players, I prefer Zizou.

You can't be serious, even at his best, Del Piero was never at Ronaldo's level, noone ever was.

97/98 was pretty close and might even favor DP here. However, Ronaldo is a legendary striker but he was never able to hold on the same way DP has done and that's an important quality as well. That being said, Ronaldo is probably the best striker of my time. Excellent finishing combined with such great technical skills - kinda like DP imo :scarf:
