The most talented, in my opinion.

And the best songwriter. Out of my top 10 Beatles songs, six of them are written by George.

    #10) Taxman (GH)
    #9) Penny Lane
#8) While my guitar gently weeps (GH)
    #7) Day in the Life
#6) Here Comes the Sun (GH)
    #5) Something (GH)
    #4) I need you (GH)
    #3) Tomorrow Never Knows
    #2) Love you to (GH)
    #1) Long and Winding Road
I would like to respectfully disagree with that list.

In no particular order,i think songs like Help,I Wana Hold Your Hand,Michelle,Hard Days Night,And I Lover He should be on that list.

I agree about George being extremley talented though. But whether he was a late developer as far as songwriting is concerned or whether he just wasn't allowed to fulfill his true potential by Lennon/McCartney is debatable. The fact that he did so brilliantly in his post Beatles career only adds to it all.

What's your favourite post Beatles song by him?

I cant get enough of 'Got My Set On You' these days.Addictive as fuck.

It seems naive to name more recent artists. How can you say they're the greatest of all time when their music still hasn't stood that test? In saying that, I do think that in time Thom York would be a big contender for this title.
