Juventus change their mind on Milito
21 Jun 2007

Saragozza, the club for which Gabriel Milito plays are asking for €25m for the player. Juventus are not willing to accept this condition, as they think that the amount is excessive.

i thought he failed a medical and thats why he didn't get through to real, that doesn't seem like kicking him out.

why do u want 2 average DCs...u want to survive Serie A or do u want to WIN it??? And dont say that we cant do it...I think that the whole article is BS...Zaragoza was in agreement with Juve and Milito himself said he wants to join us...

Given how well Milito played for Saragoza, I think medical was an excuse not to buy the player in the world of unfolding drama at Madrid. Having said that, Madrid has obviously gone against the breach of contract, and FIFA again (surprise, surprise) are not willing to punish them for the way they behave in Mercato. 25m is a lot but that is better than buying 2 average DCs IMO. You need a leader at the back and Milito is one of them.

P.S I just checked that Milito played a total of 138 games in last 4 years at Saragoza. So obviously, he isnt an iron man, but he is hardly injury prone for that matter either.
