actually mikhail, imola has always been a ferrari strong hold...like look last year with a crappy car the whole season schumi was the fastest and strongest around imola......

the impression we get frm last 4 races is the this year is going to be another alonso walkover :yuck: UNLESS ferrari and mclaren give schumi and raikkonen the car they deserve

    damn fuck alonso..:(

but to say frankly that was one of the best...or the best drive frm alonso soo far...he never impressed me soo much

we can say that the gap alonso was able to make in those opening laps can be blamed on fisi holding michael [that's an lame excuse for schumi and kmi fans like me]...but then alonso showed his pure class when he made his second pitstop!!!

after the pitstop alonso with allmost 25-36 lap on board was only .2 seconds slower than schumacher who had 3 laps of fuel  simply marvellous!!!!

    hats of to alonso :yuck:

but another fantastic race by michael and kimi...though it was a shame to c ralf run in the behind of trulli who was holding him :(

    happy for nick!! :D

He is too lucky for smth like this to happen,
    he will win again,
how did they prooved that Schumi did it intentionally and hung over the race to Alonso?

Exactly, they've had reliability problems with their car for ages now so there's no way we can draw the conclusion that this year's car is more unreliable than the one last year before the first race has even begun proper.

For all you know they could go the entire season without a hitch this time, like Renault did last year.

    :D Tell that to Kimi,
his engine is on fire again while claiming another victory:cry:

Jesus will his luck EVER wear out? He was probably the 4th fastest car overall today yet cruised to another victory as all his rivals suffered misfortune after misfortune! Webber out, Kimi out, Massa crashing in quals, the notorious schumacher incident, Fisi being penalised for something or other in quals.. you just wanted him to crash and burn!!!

Top stuff from DC though :touched:

Alonso :yuck: wins again. I think the Formula 1 has reached a new level of ugliness.
I will not watch another race this season. It's getting ridiculous. Why don't they just strap Schumi with a GP2 car?

I suspect it wasn't that he was slower, he was just saving his engine while filling Kimi's intakes with his hot exhaust. Notice that Kimi was pushing harder, trying to overtake (very hard in Monaco if the driver is skilled enough), then had an engine failure - because of overheating.

Thought DC, Schumi and Barachello had phenominal drives, and Fisi was very entertaining.

Have to agree, Alonso's victories are getting tiresome.

DC in a superman cape! :weee:

The officials sould think twice before give that controversial punishment to Schumacher for the sake of this years spectacle,
before they hangle this years title to Alonso,
    now its over...

i ve heard that Ferrari still claims that Schumid didnt do that on purpose and they base their protest on the fact that Schumi had the best time in the first part of his final lap...

and about the late breaks that "prooved" he did it intentionally:

The telemetry-data showed the Stewards that Schumacher was hitting the brakes 50% heavier than in his previous laps, but according to Weber that doesn't prove anything. "Of course he braked harder, he had to! When you make a mistake and lose control you will brake a lot harder than you do normally. This evidence is a complete joke. None of these three Stewards sat in the car - it was Michael who sat there."

I imagine he got screwed based on his previous record. He's rammed plenty of cars in his time. He's an amazing driver, but a cynical one too.

schumi will do well, i have a good feeling abt the next race.

i reckon it takes one race that schumi passes alonso and then his confidence is gone, and schumi has the nod.

by the way i didnt know abt this thread i would've posted the pictures i have from the melbourne race
