No idea. I googled what Jack was talking about; "egg noodles chili" and that came up. If someone recognizes it I would love a recipe for it :lick:

That looks even better, Jack.

Is that black can coconut milk or bamboo shoots?

Also, how do you cut the cabbage? Thinly sliced?

And I think I'll hold on the water chestnuts. :p

The black can is bamboo shoots, the purple one is coconut milk. As for the cabbage it's not really thin.

I had lemon grass while preparing the food that I took away later on and I also had some fresh ginger.

Why don't you like the water chestnuts?

Ahh, I can't see the purple can picture.

I can't really find lemongrass around here. Where do you get it there?

And water chestnuts just don't taste really good on my tongue. Instead of those I'd probably add some red peppers.

I like the potato idea, but I'm not sure about the corn.

Lemongrass is available everywhere here, I just smash it and put it while cooking. And that is baby corn, there is no way I'd put in whole corn near my wok.

I saw some at a Weiss I think and Martin's in the Burg has it. If I had to I'd just drive to EC and go to the Asian market.
