that's our reality now. let inda lead and the whole league is fucked

problem is that italians are idiots. agnelli made way too many mistakes, but on strategic issues, he was mostly right: italy is screwed without reforms

Totally agree with you, but look who's running the league.Seriass used to be a top league, after 2006, where behind every top league in europe this country needs a wholesale change, top to bottom, but it won't happen as long as these old fucks like gravinter keep running this league for their childhood team and screw the rest, reform will never happen, and they will never go to another world cup.

just for the record

We would still be at those numbers if we were a competitive team in CL and if we had a good squad. The reduction is due to poor results on the pitch for almost half a decade.

Ronaldo if anything made a minor difference to our revenue. This is a false narrative if you ask me.

2nd one is only commercial revenue, including sponsorship. 2018: ~143m; 2019: ~186m

(didn't check the balance sheets for confirmation but deloitte are usually accurate)
We were still paying over €60M in gross wages to a player that helped bring a ~€40M difference in revenue.

I am not saying he didn't make a difference. It's just that it was not very impactful financially as it's being pointed out.

Even after he left, we would've still remained on those numbers if we were challenging for the scudetto and making CL quarters regularly rather than fighting for 4th spot on the last day of the season.

These reduced numbers are more cos of poor mercato decisions over the years than Ronaldo leaving us.
