Look how ridiculous Juve is overpaying some of their players.

Rabiot is tied at 3rd highest NET of 7M in all of Serie A
Bono is tied at 7th at 6.5M
Sandro tied 10th at 6M
Arthur tied 14th at 5M
Berna tied 28th at 4M
Rugani tied 35th at 3.5M
MDS tied 45th at 3M

All of the above IMO I would discard this summer. Juve has so many underperforming or more likely not talented enough players to wear the Juve management (Max) should stop thinking a few like Bono and a few others are needed to stay. They look good but who wouldn't with some of the crap they play with. Even Dybala who looks great when viewed against fellow teammates need not to stay.

Bastoni makes 2.8M and who wouldn't want him over Bono in a heartbeat. SMS only gets 3.2M net lol. It's like Christmas in July for players who get signed to a Juve contract. Stop the band-aid accusations and do a complete rebuild with cheaper young talent. The Man needs to tell Max this what needs to be done but of course we will give you more time to get the job done.

Juventus are only Italian side in top 10 of shirt sponsor revenues

Calcio e Finanza details how the Bianconeri currently earn a total of €51m per season as a result of their shirt sponsorship deals, the eighth most in Europe. They’re ahead of teams like Liverpool and Tottenham, who both earn €35m per season, and close behind other European giants like Bayern Munich (€60m) and Chelsea (€70m). Topping the list is Real Madrid with €125m earnt per season.

Looking at Serie A exclusively, there is an incredibly clear gap; the Italian club who earns the second most from shirt sponsors is Milan, who receive €30m per season. They still sit far ahead of third place Inter (€12.5m), Lazio (€5m) and Roma (€3.5m), showing the gulf in revenue streams available to Serie A clubs.

Differences in figures like this help explain the gap between some of the top Italian teams and their competitors across Europe, something that often becomes apparent in the Champions League.

In Italy, on this front, Juventus is king. From the agreement with Adidas, the bianconeri earn 51 million euros per season. In second place we find Milan with 30 million. The Rossoneri are fresh from the renewal with PUMA. Inter are in third place,

After the renewal with Puma, which will bring 30 million euros a year to the Rossoneri coffers, the Rossoneri club has surpassed Inter (12.5 million) in this special ranking. Figures far removed from those of the other top European clubs (Real Madrid 120 million, Barcelona 105, Manchester United 87, PSG 80, Manchester City 75, Arsenal and Chelsea 60, Liverpool and Tottenham 35).

Anyone knows how much money we've saved in wages in this last year since Ronaldo left or has done the math?

I feel like we've saved so much money yet we're still penny pinching.

enough to not spend a euro in this market window.

Vlahovic = Kulu+Bentancur
Bremer-Kostic = De Ligt
Pogba-DiMaria-Depay= Morata,Bernardeschi,Dybala and Chiellini

so far profit or 0€ mercato.
Our midfield thanks to Pogba injury is as shit as last year.
No wait worse if Rabiot goes because it's a race between Fagioli and Miretti to replace him as sub

You forgot what we've saved on Rabiot, Ramsey, Douglas Costa and the big fat 31m contract of Ronaldo.

The management currently trying to lower the total gross salary yearly, so that is the saving. It will depend on what we capable to achieve each year (income). Currently around 200m gross per year is the realistic amount for total wages

If we can improve our income yearly to be minimal of 600m then we can expect the increment of what we can spend. The key is how capable we to maintain that kind of income stability

Did we not sign Locatelli and Chiesa permanently this summer? That will be a chunk of our budget.

We also sold Demiral though.

Jesus Christ I just opened that now. Woj is the second highest-paid player in the entire Serie A?? We have 7 of the top ten and all of the top 4, and of those besides our goalkeeper two of the others are defenders. 10 of the 20 highest earners are Juve players.

We're lucky Bene and Bini came in to avoid us going full Inter 2010-2012.

You know what's even funnier?
He is not even the best GK in the league. I don't think he is even better than Perin.

Anybody would have seemed nothing special after 20 years of Gigi, but yeah he's uninspiring if solid. He's 32 with two years remaining. He'll be gone soon and Perin will be 31 by then. Maybe Perin will be getting bled into the first 11 before then or maybe we'll get somebody else.

While that list is shocking, you can see the traces of old ways of thought and old management.

Top 50
1 Vlahovic : young striker of our future, an investment, worth the wages.
2 Szczesny : old management, expensive keeper who has not become what we anticipated. He will not be extended.
3 Bonucci : old management, bringing back a part of our successful times, He will not be extended unless a sweetheart deal like Chiellini (3m gross)
4 Sandro : old management extension, won't be extended.
7 Pogba : no transfer fee;
9 Cuadrado : already attempts to extend at a cheaper price, sweetheart deal probably more than Chiellini (4m I'd imagine)
10 Chiesa : our future, worth the wages.
13 Bremer : our future, worth the wages.
15 Rabiot : already trying to be sold, old management.
17 Di Maria : two year contract; talented and worth the short-term wages imo
21 Rugani : old management extension, won't be extended, active attempts to sell
25 Arthur : old management, won't be extended, active attempts to sell
36 Locatelli : young midfielder, controllable wages, worth the wages
39 Danilo : old management, getting older but possible to keep if wages kept under control. Might be extended;

If you look at that right there, in two seasons we will definitely eliminate Szczesny, Bonucci, Sandro, Cuadrado, Rabiot, Rugani, and MAYBE Arthur from that list. The goal will be to make smart decisions on wages and not continue down this path of unsustainable wages for most of the first squad. This is good and should've been the goal all along. We got too cocky in our financial position and too ambitious with wages. This should've NEVER been the case and I believe it is a classic tale of "its easy to spend somebody else's money." Paratici was very quick to throw out wages to keep the squad competitive but it hurt us in the long run. Ramsey should've never happened but there is an argument to be made that Rabiot was a risk worth taking. He didn't turn out good but he wasn't a complete disaster, just didn't fulfill the promise.

But I think there is cause for GREAT positivity in terms of the wage bill going forward especially after 2024. And the thing to keep in mind is the closer we get to 2024 the easier it will be to dump players like Arthur. We push hard on him now because his book value is high. Another year goes by, his book value total will decrease and we can afford to get back less to move him. Really wish he had gone to Valencia.
