It depends when this new deal kicks in and for how long it is signed i guess.

If it starts right now and is quite short (3 years) then it's amazing.
Our current one ends 2021 iirc, so if it starts only then and is long then we'd again be in the 10th-20th position cause by that time everyone will get new/renegotiated sponsorhip.

On the other hand once Ronaldo retires we might not get even those 50m. :shifty:

i guess sponsors will be reluctant to sing big money long term deals knowing that cr wouldn't play until the contract runs out. that's why agnelli said that we should be able to sing the future cr's in their prime.
We did sign the future CR of defenders tho; it's a good start.

33mln difference + 26mln from Adidas = 59mln

Not bad, not spectacular either. But without CR7 we would probably needed another 5 years to arrive at this point.

Hopefully by the times these new deals end we establish ourselves and manage to sign a 26yo Ronaldo like Agnelli said.

We also got a 18mln one off bonus from Adidas for the increase in sales. We are also yet to find out the financial benefits from other commercials contracts we signed like M&Ms, the Chinese water, The Bee energy drink etc.

Chinese water, who would want to drink that?

I've never even hear off Bee energy drink.

this is even more telling of the absurdity of the wages: in the top 36 most paid players in the league, 20 play for juve. now, that is ridiculous. squad players like rugani or cuadrado get paid much, much more than other club's key players. (chiellini's salary is very low compared to these though.)

What if there was a plan hatched by Italy to bring Juve down. First move is to make it beneficial to bring foreigners and pay them tons of money, then when Juve bloats their squad under the new law, government changes course and makes it illegal.

Any idea about the asterisk mark besides certain players

never gonna happen with dzeko, skriniar or romagnoli. either they are not good enough, or they want to be rock solid starters.

our wage bill is huge, and it's only partly because of ronaldo. it's only natural to have the best and the highest paid squad in the league, but we're a bit exaggerating when it comes to salaries. top wages for cr, de ligt or the 2 new freebies are easy to understand, but pjaca with 2m or rugani with 3.5m are simply impossible to get rid of. 6m for mandzukic or khedira are insane too, and i honestly don't have anything against these guys, unlike most of my fellow juventini. some of our players would never, ever get similar wages at other european clubs, maybe not even in china.
