Can't remember. But Premier League is just in a league of their own. Spurs that haven't won anything in years and haven't been a CL regular are ahead/close to us. Absurd.
Do we ever have any fucking money? Those EPL cunts can afford a net spend of 150-200 million every single mercato. Can we, just for once, make an exception, and have a mercato of 80-100 million in terms of net expenditure?

They have TV revenue that's off the charts. While in Italy the broadcaster that wins an auction gets taken to court for bidding the minimum amount by the incumbent lowballing broadcaster.

there's no such a thing as net spend. clubs won't even calculate this. transfer fees are spread over the contract period, and they are also paid in installments, so there is no point in calculating "net spending" for a single transfer window. also, one should never forget the players' wages. clubs are planning yearly budgets for multiple financial years, not transfermarkt balances for a single summer.
and yes, we have the money. i expect a healthy mercato with a few positive surprises. i mean beppe gonna beppe, he's a beancounter after all, but i have a feeling that we might splash the cash on someone we're not even talking about.
Thohir is saying that INter´s recent qualification will be massive in China, pointing at the revenues they will generate based on marketing this achievement.
We should start worrying? They are catching us in revenue already right?

Plus not only do they need to make more but also a lot of room to make up just to get to our level. They are a long way off. Its probably good that a bigger name team is in the CL from Serie A. Napoli just doesnt have the european respect and Roma not really either until maybe this year. We need Serie A to be more attractive for us to take the next step up IMO
Just take a look at Tottenham and Arsenal. They managed to increase their brandvalue quite a lot even though they didn't win anything. But my guess is they managed to increase it, because so many is watching and folowing the PL every weekend.
Napoli didn't manage to increase their brandvalue even though they played a type of football that a lot of people admired. Serie A really needs to be more attractive before we can capitalize.
Wasn't the Pogba sale recorded to last year's financial statements? Revenues from player registration rights are way down due to that I think. Television revenues are down due to our earlier exit from CL. All other revenues are up, so this isn't bad news at all.
