Balancing the books is the long term game. If you spend big $$ and don't achieve success its a disaster and can set you back YEARS.

No matter how we may criticize individual transfers or the philosophy of letting players go too easily when they want to leave etc.....our management is incredibly well regarded and rightly so.

The list of superb transfers is amazing - Alves, Sandro, Pirlo, Vidal, Pogba, Dybala, Khedira, Pjanic etc - just those players alone cost the management 40% of what PSG paid for 1 player! Amazing when you think about it.
True. But it's also amazing when you think that all these players cost us only 10% more than what we paid for one other player :sergio:

Juventus and M&M’s®: Ready to entertain you

The Bianconeri sign a multi-year Partnership agreement with Mars Italia to promote the iconic chocolate snack brand

Juventus is delighted to announce a new Partnership with a very prestigious brand: M&M’s® - one of the iconic brands of the American multinational company Mars. This partnership confirms the pull of Juventus to innovative brands who are leaders in their respective sectors and always on the lookout for new forms of communication. M&M’s®, famous across the whole world for their ‘lens-shaped’ chocolates, are synonymous with fun and sharing. This is the basis of the Partnership with the Bianconeri club: the common aim of granting moments of leisure and entertainment, as only football knows how, to all generations of fans.

The M&M’s® brand is globally recognised through its characters – called Red, Yellow, Green, Blue, Brown and Orange – who represent the brand on TV, on digital channels and all forms of communication and which, as of today, will begin a fantastic, new adventure by joining Juventus. Each M&M’s® character is now a part of collective imagination, becoming genuine cult figures to represent, in an innovative and entertaining way, a brand that owes its worldwide success to its ability to win over the hearts of young people whilst remaining with them throughout adult life.

It is precisely this passion and innovation that unite Juventus and M&M’s®: the club continually demonstrates its ability and willingness to stand out from the crowd and this Partnership will help to create entertaining moments and content that bring together two very popular entities, determined to amplify the excitement. The club will get to know better the M&M’s® characters, who will be present at Allianz Stadium on matchdays, while there will be many other opportunities for collaboration over the course of the season.

“This agreement with M&M’s® allows us to team up with a global brand, from whom we want to learn in terms of creating innovative experiences across the world and, likewise, to whom we want to transmit our own ideas whilst taking the sponsors on a journey into our world of entertainment,” declared Giorgio Ricci, Co-Chief Revenue Officer and Head of Global Partnerships and Corporate Revenues at Juventus.

“I send a huge welcome to M&M’s®, and therefore Mars, for joining our family of sponsors, knowing that we have the right Partner with whom to create a unique future with new ideas.” “We are delighted to be returning to the world of sport, and especially football – a true collective ritual that has always united generations and cultures,” commented Paolo Rigamonti, General Manager and CEO of Mars Italia.

“We’re doing this alongside Juventus, one of the most popular clubs in our country and with whom we share the passion, determination to succeed and desire to always give our best for the fans. “We too will be a part of the most wonderful spectacle in the world: with this Partnership we want people to soak up the excitement of Italian football together with the original experiences that we will create with our characters, Red and Yellow. Side by side, we’ll be having a lot of fun.”

Juve averaged 40M per year in ticket sales which is Italy`s best but compared to other european clubs we are crap
Real Madrid, Manchester United, Barcelona and Arsenal make around €119-127m per year from ticket sales.
So we earn third of their ticket sales - What do you think is the reason behind that? Is it because our stadium is small compared to theirs in terms of seats or is the ticket pricing that low in Italy? (we fill more than 90% of the Stadium on average which is good in terms of percentages but our stadium isnt that big so maybe Italians rather eat pasta then go to the stadium and watch us play...

Old Trafford I would say on average would have similar ticket prices across the board. Arsenal doesn't, London prices are stupid so ignore them. OT has double the capacity of J Stadium. Double the tickets sold, double the revenue taken at the tills for food and drink. In the cases of United, Madrid, Barcelona you have far more people doing stadium tours. Even non-football watchers go to Camp Nou to look around.
