$#@!h he's talking about how that financial projection can be made when there is a considerable variable of how much cash the club will get each year based on Champions League performance.

EDIT: Whoops, slow off the mark.
There is no way to make a 100% financial projection in sport.
Let's say today we make 276m with a early drop off in champions league. that resulted in a lower income by 5-6m compared to 2013 when we reached quarter finals and played against Bayern.
So for your hypothetical financial projection you gotta take this numer 276m.
Now we start with the ifs
If we win the scudetto we'll keep the 276 projection (winning the title garant you a price of 10m roughly)
But if we qualify directly for 2015-2016 champions league (not talking about finals but just qualifying) we'll have a surplus of 20m compared to last year due to Mediaset tv deal which will bring us 50m even if we get kicked out early like last year.
This year we got through the group stages and we'll earn 11m more cause napoli has been kicked out
The 11m sum might increase by a certain quantity if we manage to eliminate BVB.

That's the champions league part....
So let's be optimistic and let's say we win the scudetto we'll roughly get around
276+20m+11m

but then we have to consider new adidas deal which will increase our resources by 18m per year and new Serie A deal which is a little bit higher (946m €) than before
By the hell of this crap for the season 2015-2016 our financial projection should be of 325m + seria Tv deals upgrade and champions league performance.

Dunno if it's help. Can't go technical sorry ;(

I would almost rather the club disband than become like Arsenal. Selling their best players every year, the loser mentality, the ridiculous level of delusion, never winning a damn thing and being proud of it... God no.
So which 'star' have they actually sold in the last two yrs?
Incidently they happened to achieve financial sustainibility in this period with all the lucrative tv and sponsorship deals which kicked in so they dont have to sell their stars anymore.
I dont like Arsenal as team mainly cos of their fans but you cant deny they have had to do it the hard way to get to this position where they can purchase expensive players without selling their stars unlike Chelsea and
City who have basically bullied their way to the top through money. Now Man U are doing the same.
We would've been in a similar position to them right now if Serie A had oil teams.

Dunno man Chelsea lately isn't a spending machine like it used to be. Nowdays they buy&sell players. They seem to established themself without the need of their oil lord anymore.
Man U unlike others can afford that and their money are clean not from some Sheik or oil lord

Why look at only two years?

Why look at only two years?
Because its only in the last few yrs that they've turned into a self-sustainable club. Its only now that they've started to reap the benefits of their hard work.
Arsenal have/ had been forced to become non-competitive.The emergence of oil teams being one reason behind it apart from their ridiculously expensive stadium construction costs pfcourse.
