They sold SGS and made net gains in amount of 1.5bn. Usually their profit is around few hundred mils. I keep an eye on their statements, mostly to see whether we can benefit in some way.
Wow that actually sucks! How can they have a revenue of 110b and make such a little profit o_O. Some roots must be heavly rotten to suck away all the profit.

Probably because a huge chunk of their revenue comes from the FIAT arm and it doesn't generate much profit even after the turn around in recent years.

it is written 117,740 billion €
Seems you're right and it is quite a big figure. I briefly browsed through the financial statement of one of their most important subsidiaries (Fiat), and they recorder 87bn of income. Profit was 1.9bn, out of which 274m was attributed to Exor. Rather miserable profit margin.

The funny thing is, we are as marketable as fomula 1 and cricket, sometimes it feels like they are using us as cheap marketing for the FIAT koncern (New Holland, then Jeep).. We should get more
I remember one of the members here (could be Turk) mentioned that we're being used by the Elkanns as a marketing machine for their brands back in 2007-08. Back then I thought its a far fetch theory.

But now the more I look at it can't help but think he might be right all along. First it was new holland and now it's jeep (for quiet a low deal IMO). There is something fishy here though I'm against conspiracy thoeries in general.

Hey @Mark, here are the links I promised you.

Season 2011/12; investments 104m, current payables 63m.

Not all of these were settled within a year, major benefit of using the installments, so there are current (63m payables that were due for that season, but those also include previously non-current payables, which were due that year as a result of our previous dealings) and non-current payables (30m within the next 5 years) in total amount of 93m.

During the fall/winter of 2011/12 Exor subscribed 104m worth of ordinary shares, therefore despite of massive investments made previous summer, our net financial position remained almost at the same level at the end of year.

Once we get into a position where we are making a profit yearly, the debt wont become a problem at all. Just takes time and our revenue next season should be much better with the Addidas deal.

Awesome post!

Can we know how much we owe for the next years of transfer fees installments of signings already made?

I mean, how much would already be done for next year? I suppose it's a high amount, leaving us little room to make transfers up to our 70M annual limit.

Too difficult to determine. I'd need to have little more than Juve's yearly report, account book more likely to track all the accruals and their nature, but that is impossible, for me at least. Maybe someone else can give you better answer. :)

Just on top of my head, i can't even remember what Old Trafford is called for example. Actually i only remember Etihad and Fly Emirates (Arsenal, right?) from the PL. Is Stamford Bridge something with Samsung? Even in the PL, they haven't been very good at incorporating these sponsorship stadiumnames... Again the germans are steps ahead. Allianz, Signal-Iduna, Veltins etc. You just know them by those names

Old Trafford isn't actually commercial sponsored, the club have been able to bring in the money in other ways by commercially naming the training ground etc. Stamford Bridge is similar. I'm unsure if a team like Arsenal or City lose out on money in the Champions League because stadium naming rights are prohibited in that competition hence why we always see 'Arsenal Stadium' in the European Cup.

It is a hit and miss concept really, if a club can get it right and doesn't care about the perceived history behind their stadium name then the financial possibilities are there. That's why clubs like Hull City etc do it but United probably won't.
